With the five-year anniversary of the Rock Band Platform just over a month away, players continue to get fresh tracks for rocking in ROCK BAND 3 or the recently-released ROCK BAND BLITZ. This coming Tuesday, songs from SAVE FERRIS, SHERYL CROW, and THREE DAYS GRACE hit the store. Harmonix send over the full details, which have been posted on The Rock Father below the break.

It's a bit of a 1980s flashback week for ROCK BAND players as the platform gets ready to add a trio of songs straight from the Reagan era. Fast-approaching the five-year anniversary of the Rock Band Music Store, players will be able to attempt tracks from FLOCK OF SEAGULLS and BILLY SQUIER this Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Harmonix sent the details to The Rock Father yesterday, and you'll find them below...

As we approach the five-year anniversary of the ROCK BAND platform this November, the folks at Harmonix just keep rolling out the new DLC to bring some fresh rock to both ROCK BAND 3, and the newly-released ROCK BAND BLITZ. Next week, 311 makes their Rock Band debut with a trio of tracks destined to be rocked by family and friends worldwide. The Rock Father has all the details below...

Harmonix just hit The Rock Father with details on next week's ROCK BAND DLC, and fans of THE BLACK KEYS will be excited. Three more tracks from the group will be headed to the Rock Band Music Store on August 21st as a part of "The Black Keys Pack 02".

The next installment of the ROCK BAND franchise is totally different, and it's arriving next month in the form of ROCK BAND BLITZ. First announced on The Rock Father this past April, the game requires no special accessories or peripherals, and is playable with your regular controller. ROCK BAND BLITZ arrives on PlayStation® Network on August 28th for $14.99 and to Xbox LIVE® Arcade on August 29th for 1200 Microsoft Points™. More tracks were just announced, and the complete listing can be found below alongside the latest developer video.

At 11:02am, a press release from Harmonix hit my inbox, and I've been wanting to post about this all day: There's a new ROCK BAND game on the way. No, it's not another ''band'' affair in need of another fleet of plastic instruments, but something that promises ''a new way to experience your favorite Rock Band songs, with fast-paced, multi-track arcade gameplay that encourages you to compete against your friends for the highest scores.'' ROCK BAND BLITZ is a controller-based Rock Band for Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network.
