In Equestria, they say that everypony loves Halloween. The same holds true at Rock Father HQ, where we not only love Halloween, but have a couple of certified MLP fans on our hands, eager to follow the adventures of the Mane Six wherever they may roam. In MY LITTLE PONY FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC: SPOOKTACULAR PONY TALES (out now from Shout! Factory Kids) Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie (Spike, too!) battle the forces of darkness (well, maybe not exactly) in six seasonally delightful episodes that go perfect with a crisp Fall breeze and some pumpkin-spiced sweets, landing firmly in 31 Days of Halloween here on THE ROCK FATHER.

On September 16, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: BERRY BEST FRIENDS on DVD, the latest compilation of episodes culled from STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE'S BERRY BITTY ADVENTURES, which previously aired on the Hub Network. There's a rockin' theme here - one that finds Strawberry and her friends forming a band - a band which is also making the jump into toy form this fall through a new collection of figures and accessories from The Bridge Direct (check out my review of the Sweet Beats Stage Playset). Now, to celebrate the release, Fox and THE ROCK FATHER have teamed-up to give you a shot at winning STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: BERRY BEST FRIENDS on DVD + Digital Combo Pack!

While I thought they were a little weird up front (more on that in a few), MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS first arrived here at Rock Father HQ last Fall, securing a place in my Holiday Gift Guide before we'd even seen the movie.  The Hasbro dolls were an immediate hit with Addie, and we've since added a few more to the collection, as well as the movie, which the folks at Shout! Factory graciously sent us after reading my post on the toys. This Fall, the Equestria Girls are back - and they've got a band! MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS is headed for theaters on September 27, with Screenvision, Hasbro Studios and Shout! Factory bringing the film to more that 300 cinemas across the U.S. and Canada ahead of it's October 28 Blu-ray and DVD release. Truth be told, Addie's been asking me about this ever since the RAINBOW ROCKS dolls started popping up at Toys "R" Us this past spring. Preview the film below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER...

Fresh from SDCC - the currently in-progress Comic-Con International in San Diego - comes this first-look preview of TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE! Shown here on THE ROCK FATHER with the permission of Hasbro, this new entry into the TRANSFORMERS Universe will begin airing on the Hub Network sometime in 2015. Check out the new preview below, and share your thoughts in the comments section. Personally, I'm digging it...

From August 4-8, the Hub Network will be going full-on PONY with their MY LITTLE PONY MEGA MARE-ATHON, a 50-hour event that will let fans view all 91 episodes from the first four seasons of MY LITTLE PONY FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC in their original viewing order, along with the EQUESTRIA GIRLS movie, and three classic MLP specials that have never before aired on the Hub Network. Additionally, the episodes will be broken up by  "Ask a Pony" interstitials showing real people asking each of the Mane Six questions and each pony answering them. Check out the entire schedule for the marathon below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER!

#TRANSFORMERSweekI was around eight years old when TRANSFORMERS (aka "Generation One" or G1) first hit the scene in 1984. I can't recall which came first for me - the cartoon or the Hasbro Toys, but they went hand-in-hand, and I have vivid memories of watching the show and then bringing the adventure into my home with the action figures and vehicles, many of which have special stories of their own, like when I recalled getting JetFire back in this feature from last year. They were truly "More Than Meets the Eye," and it's been a joy to share their stories with my own kids. One of the unique things about TRANSFORMERS is how it's evolved to reach children of all ages, starting with the preschool-aimed TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS, which airs regularly on the Hub Network, and into the realm of TRANSFORMERS PRIME, BEAST HUNTERS and, of course, the live-action films from Michael Bay. One place to catch a lot of those shows at any time is Netflix (yes, I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team - "disclosure" and all, plus I'm actually their June Member of the Month!), so for my June Stream Team Spotlight, I'm highlighting all the Autobot Vs. Decepticon action that Netflix currently has to offer!
