When it comes to "unboxings," I usually don't post them if it's not myself or The Rock Daughters™ doing the unboxing and reviewing. Exceptions are to be made, and this is one of those - just because the toys in question are just pretty cool. Here we have the team from DC Collectibles doing an unboxing via Facebook Live of two new sets - the Batman: The Animated Series "Expressions Pack," and the DC Rebirth Justice League DC Icons 7-pack set. Check out the video below...

2017 CAS LogoAs The LEGO Batman Movie soars into theaters this weekend, it's pretty appropriate that The Batmobile is in the Windy City. After all, Chicago doubled for Gotham City back when Christopher Nolan was crafting his Dark Knight Trilogy. Thing is, this Batmobile is a much different beast. The 2017 LEGO Batmobile from Chevrolet made its official debut in Detroit last month, a life-sized replica of "The Speedwagon" driven by LEGO Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) in the new film. Now, that ride, crafted from a total of 344,187 LEGO bricks supported by a square-tube aluminum frame, is sitting in McCormick Place, the result of 222 hours of design time, and 1,833 hours of construction by LEGO Master Builders. For it's appearance at The Chicago Auto Show, the LEGO Batmobile sits in front of a brick wall illuminated by moving Bat (and Chevy) signals, each zeroing in on LEGO Batman himself! As a bonus, kids can take part in their very own LEGO Batmobile mini-build, available for free to take home! We had a chance to check out the full display during the Media Preview - take a look...

Yesterday morning, little Finley and I had some time to spare in the morning, and she wanted to open a few blind bags before heading off to school. We decided to crack open a trio of Fisher-Price Imaginext blind bags - two from the new DC Super Friends Series 2, and one from the standard Series 7. Check out our latest video below, and don't forget to subscribe to The Rock Father™ on YouTube for the latest videos, delivered direct to you as soon as they're posted!

That funky guitar lick gets me every time - the one first heard when Gal Gadot burst onto the scene in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice to help Clark and Bruce take down a mighty foe. Now it's back once more in the second trailer for next year's Wonder Woman, hitting theaters screens on June 2, 2017 via Warner Bros. Pictures from director Patty Jenks. If you dug the first trailer, you're going to love the new one - a more detailed look at Diana Prince making her way into the mortal world and heading for war. Check it out...

The DC Comics Bombshells line is a unique collection of higher-end statues that celebrate popular characters as presented in the style of 1940s and '50s pinups. Over the past few years, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Lois Lane, Hawkgirl and Catwoman have been among the characters given the Bombshell treatment, as has Batgirl, who just got a special statue for the 2016 Halloween season. The DC Comics Bombshells "Halloween Batgirl" switches out the traditional purple and gold outfit for a festive orange and black vampire costume, complete with fangs and a very appropriate hairdo. Based on the art of ANT LUCIA. Check it out below, and get yours from my ally, Entertainment Earth.
