With the Holiday Season officially upon us. it's time to start thinking of those "big" gifts - the ones that kids will remember and talk about for the rest of their lives. One cool item is a ride-on toy, and Long Island, New York-based GiGGo Toys is producing some new rides that will have the kids rockin' the road (sidewalk) in style. Hot off the release of their Little Indian Vintage Motorcycles comes a new ride-on for kids ages 2-4: The NYPD Motorbike! To help roll it out, my friends Viva Veltoro and Thrifty Nifty Mommy have partnered with THE ROCK FATHER and a few other friends to get one lucky reader hooked-up with one of these for their own little ones. If I were a kid, I'd want one of these to play CHiPs (but then Ponch and Jon would probably be pursuing me). Ready for a shot at glory?

Here's some information about the new Motorbike from the GiGGo Toys website:

This is the ride-on motorcycle officially licensed by NEW YORK CITY and modeled after a New York Police Department (NYPD) patrol cruiser. It carries children up to 1.5 MPH in pursuit of the “bad guys.” Its built-in rechargeable battery powers its 6-volt electric motor on smooth terrains such as sidewalks, patios, or driveways. A hand switch provides forward and backward movement, accompanied by siren sounds from a built-in speaker. The two rear wheels provide balanced riding without the need for bike-riding skills. Braking is provided by releasing the foot throttle. It has a working headlight and has twin hazard lights and a working siren enable re-enactment of traffic stops (separate AA battery required- not included). There's also a rear compartment opens for storage. A 10-hour charge of the battery using the included AC adapter provides up to one ½ hours of continuous operation. This ride-on is recommended for ages 2-4 and will accommodate a ride up to 66 pounds.

Also, we've got great news! You asked and GiGGo listened - they now have a payment plan! You can now purchase your GiGGo Toys items in just three easy payments! See the website for additional info.
