TRANSFORMERSThere is little more that I can say that I haven't already said to solidify the fact that I am a lifelong fan of the TRANSFORMERS. I'm 37, and next year, the TRANSFORMERS will celebrate their 30th Anniversary with a new TRANSFORMERS: THRILLING 30 Collection. Quite simply, I was 7 when the TRANSFORMERS hit the scene, and it was just right to make sure that three decades later, I'd still be playing along. As a father... as "The Rock Father," I share things like the world of Cybertron with my children - my girls - and when the opportunity to review the new CONSTRUCT-BOTS came along, my four-year-old clarified just how right I'm doing things. "Would you like to build your own TRANSFORMER?" I asked. She looked at me, and with the most serious tone replied, "That's a silly question. Of course, I would like to build my own TRANSFORMER." And build it, she did.

Having been originally released back in 2005, MY LITTLE PONY: A VERY MINTY CHRISTMAS is a movie that my wife and I missed the first time around - coming long after our own childhood, but about four years prior to us becoming parents ourselves. Released on DVD by Shout! Factory Kids for 2013 as part of their MY LITTLE PONY "Classic Movies" Collection, I sat down to watch it with my four-year-old daughter, and today it makes my annual 25 Days of Xmas countdown here on The Rock Father.

On December 17, Shout! Factory Kids in association with Hasbro Studios will release LITTLEST PET SHOP - LIGHTS, CAMERA, FASHION! on DVD. This new collection features five episodes of the popular series on The Hub, all featuring Pet Shop owner Blythe and her animal friends - Zoe the spaniel, Pepper the skunk, Sunil the mongoose, Russell the hedgehog, Penny the panda, Vinnie the gecko and Minka the monkey. The DVD is available now for pre-order via my affiliate, Walmart, complete with a bonus trading card and Zoe toy.

After a short run of Season Two episodes this past summer, THE AQUABATS! SUPER SHOW! will return to The Hub for the Holiday Season, with the first of three specials, CHRISTMAS WITH THE AQUABATS, set to debut on December 21. News just hit Rock Father HQ this afternoon, and I've got details on all three new Aquabats specials below. Fingers crossed that they bust out their awesome cover of Lindsey Buckingham's "Holiday Road" that I like so much.

Whenever I post something that falls into this realm, I always have to add a preface, because I get asked: No, I am not a "Brony." I have two daughters that absolutely adore MY LITTLE PONY, but even even though I've watched it with them on The Hub, I cannot get into MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. But... I know guys that do (some of whom read this site), and I don't knock it, but it's just not for me. That said, the documentary film, BRONIES: THE EXTREMELY UNEXPECTED ADULT FANS OF MY LITTLE PONY is getting a wide-release on DVD on December 17th via MVD Entertainment Group.

This month, Shout! Factory in association with Hasbro Studios released TRANSFORMERS PRIME: PREDACONS RISING, a 90-minute epilogue to the recently-concluded, TRANSFORMERS PRIME. BUMBLE BEE got his voice back... MEGATRON raised an undead army (seasonally-appropriate for Halloween!)... and for the rest, you'll just have to watch. Luckily for you, my friends at Shout! Factory and Hasbro have teamed up with The Rock Father to get three readers hooked-up with some sweet prizes. So which side are you on? AUTOBOT... DECEPTICON... or PREDACON?
