If you've been following my adventures as The Rock Father for a bit, there's a solid chance that you already know how much I love my coffee. You also might've caught the news that to kick 2014 off right, I'm taking part in a Fitness Challenge with my friend, Tom. Well, today my love of coffee and my quest for fitness come together as my friends at the J.M. Smucker Company, makers of Dunkin' Donuts Packaged Coffee (available where you buy groceries) continue their ongoing #DunkinMugUp contest to give YOU a chance to win some rockin' prizes!

When I last checked-in with an update about using my new Brother P-Touch PT-H100 Label Maker to get Rock Father HQ organized for the holidays and beyond, I tackled the pantry, and left things hanging with a promise to delve into the girls' craft cabinet. I wasn't kidding when I said that it needed an overhaul (something that I've done repeatedly), and with the cold, snowy weather forcing us to spend more time inside in these days prior to Christmas, we've been doing a lot more crafty stuff. And, adding to the cabinet regularly, it's been a real mess. Not anymore.

Dunkin DonutsChristmastime is here, and for a coffee fiend like me, that means breaking out the Seasonal Flavors - like those offered by my friends at the J.M. Smucker Company, makers of Dunkin' Donuts packaged coffee (available where you buy groceries). Today I'm sipping their new Apple Pie coffee... as I stand in front of my Christmas tree while wearing a Santa Hat, a Griswold Family Tree "Bad Christmas Sweater" (it's a t-shirt), and using a Peanuts mug as my hot beverage holder of choice. So now that you've seen my Holiday Cheer, we want to see YOURS!

I tend to be really into organization, which is sometimes surprising given the regular condition of things such as... my garage, for example. Back when I was really into things like building a library of movies and music in physical form, everything needed to be perfect at all times, broken into category, and properly alphabetized. While that's not really a thing for me anymore, I still get hit by the organizational bug, and with the holidays here certain things need to be done... especially the ones that have been getting let go because of my on-the-go lifestyle as The Rock Father - chasing two little girls all day. Brother sent me their new P-touch PT-H100 label maker, and I've started getting down to business. First up: The Pantry.

mug up prizeBy now, I think it's safe to say that November is the Official Month of the Mustache (or Moustache). As many of you already know, I'm doing my part to combat men's health issues by taking part in Movember this year - my first-ever run at being a "Mo Bro." While I continue my quest to grow some amusing facial hair (as my wife calls it) for a great cause, you can celebrate The Month of the Mustache as well, by showing the world your Mug'stache. What's a "Mug'stache," you ask? Well, it's the latest chance for you to win some sweet prizes from Dunkin' Donuts by sharing a photo of yourself and tagging it with #DunkinMugUp on Instagram and your other social networks. My friends at the J.M. Smucker Company, makers of Dunkin' Donuts packaged coffee (available where you by groceries) will give you a shot at scoring a year's supply of delicious coffee, a $250 VISA Gift Card, or a Dunkin' Donuts mug. I'll show you mine if you show me your... Mug'Stache:

Review: MicroTouch One Classic Safety Razor

This is unheard of. At no point in my 20+ year career reviewing things have I written and posted a review of a product on the very same day that I first tried it. They say there's "a first time for everything," and this is it... because the product in question is a razor, and it arrived today, and was used today. The experience is fresh in my mind, so here we are. Honestly, I just needed to shave today, and the MicroTouch One Classic Safety Razor arrived just in time. I last shaved on October 1st - I know this because I had a flight to catch the next day, and was getting prepped for it. It's not really any great mystery that I'm sorta bad when it comes to shaving. It's expensive, and just one more thing to work into my routine, and I skip it far too often. Having already found one razor that I love this year, the prospect of trying another was intriguing, and when the folks at Idea Village asked if I'd be up for going old-school, I had to accept.
