I can be sort of a "party pooper" when it comes to snacking and my girls - always trying to find that right balance and not over-do things. When it comes to things like candy, I'm a big fan of the "sometimes" treat - a little something special that we can enjoy from time to time, and in moderation (pretty much anything is good in moderation). Personally, I like chocolate - a lot - but I don't really do the full bar thing anymore, though I still find myself craving the unmistakable taste of TWIX, SNICKERS and 3 MUSKETEERS. Now, with the release of TWIX Bites I've got a new "sometimes" treat for the girls, and one that Dad digs, too.

#EatMoreBitesOn a recent trip to the local Walmart Supercenter, it felt like these unwrapped TWIX Bites were tempting me around every corner... lurking with cookies, chocolate and caramel goodness. There they were, peeking at me from the candy aisle (right across from the milk)... and again at the end of the ice cream aisle (I can totally think of some recipes that could feature the Bites and the Ice!)... and finally, on a full palette display right there at the checkouts. I grabbed an assortment and tossed 'em in the cart.

For me, I'm always watching calories these days, and the TWIX Bites work with that balance, too. Five Bites = 140 calories. The perfect portion for an on-the-go snack, and that's just how we've been enjoying them - on-the-go.

Rockin' my Camo Diaper Bag as always, I've got each compartment loaded for whatever our adventure may require. For a busy afternoon at the park or beyond, I've always got snacks on-hand, and on some occasions, I like to surprise the girls with a "sometimes" treat - and TWIX Bites fit the bill.
