THE ROCK FATHER has partnered with Life of Dad and Applebee's for the #BurgerSelfie promotion.

I am an unapologetic burger aficionado. Yes, I will eat a turkey burger, but what I really need is beef - a real burger, cooked properly with a little pink in the middle. You could say that when I approach a good burger that I'm "all-in" (just like how I raise the girls) and that's exactly what my friends at Applebee's have tapped into with their new collection of All-In Burgers - four varieties of proper burgers with flavors hand-smashed and seared-in, much like you'd do at home. They're hand-made with fresh ground beef - none of that pre-packed, frozen nonsense. The other night, I took the family out for dinner and dug into the Triple Bacon All-In Burger, served-up with some BBQ-spiced fries and a Diet Pepsi. Wanna see my #BurgerSelfie? How would you like to talk burgers for a chance at prizes and glory?

All-In... Rock Father Style:

When it comes to my girls, I'm always All-In. Unstoppable love and the passion to stop at nothing to get them the best. No coach for the baseball team? I'll coach.  Help building the gazillion piece LEGO castle? I'll be the Master Builder. School project needs some additional assistance? Boom, I'm there. Unfindable toy during the holidays? I'll find it.

The All-In Burgers:

Why did Applebee's decide to mix it up and go "All-In" with their burgers? Because they serve over 29,000,000 (yes, that's million) burgers a year, and they're always looking for new ways to explore flavors.

Ready to go All-In yourself? Join me, Life of Dad and Applebee's for the #BurgerSelfie Twitter Party at 9pm ET. There will be fun and some fantastic prizes. Then check out the new varieties of All-In Burgers below, and taste them at your neighborhood Applebee's

  • The American Standard Burger is the quintessential All-In Burger containing every, all-American ingredient you can think of: two slices of cheddar, bacon, onion, pickle and a sauce that contains every major burger condiment: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.

  • The Triple Bacon Burger is all about being gratuitous around bacon. Two slices inside, two slices on top and BBQ bacon ranch create the perfect bacon trio.

  • The Mushroom & Swiss Burger is a classic. Two kinds of mushrooms – domestics and Portobellos – are sautéed with roasted garlic and seared into the burger patty. Topped with two slices of Swiss cheese and savory smoky mayo, these ingredients complement the burger perfectly.

  • There’s just something about the Sweet Asian Pineapple Burger. The sweet pineapple is an unexpected, yet delicious pairing with burgers. It’s a playful flavor that appeals broadly, but is also new and innovative. Sweet Asian Chile sauce is on trend and its sweet and spicy flavor go perfectly with the pineapple.

Now it's your chance to be a Applebee's Fantographer. They're turning over their Instagram account to YOU, and all you have to do is input your name here, then tag your #BurgerSelfie with the #AllInBurger so they see it. Your picture just might appear on the official Applebee's page!
