This morning, I received an email that had started off with a very true statement: "Whether you're a true Phish fan or not, you've tried Ben & Jerry's classic flavor, Phish Food." I have, and I love it so much that at one point it was my favorite flavor from the Ben & Jerry's lineup, despite my not being a Phish Phan at all. Now, Ben & Jerry's has partnered with Phish for a third flavor to celebrate the 21st anniversary of The WaterWheel Foundation. It's Ice... Cream features a caramel malt ice cream with almond toffee pieces, fudge fish and a caramel swirl and was one of the original flavor concepts in the running back in 1997, to become Phish Food. Luckily, Ben & Jerry's Flavor Gurus never lose sight of a good flavor concept and have brought it to pints. A portion of all proceeds will benefit The WaterWheel Foundation.

It was only a matter of time, and now chrome car-driving pop star JUSTIN BIEBER has received the lullaby treatment. The folks at Roma Music Group hit The Rock Father with full details on their LULLABY VERSIONS OF JUSTIN BIEBER, which hit iTunes today as part of their fast-growing Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star line of lullabies. I wonder if Bieber will cuddle Selena Gomez to these? Probably not, though I heard they went to a PHISH concert recently. You know, there's a lullaby for that, too.

You know, I'm not a big fan of Phish. While I think that Ben & Jerry's Phish Food is mighty tasty, and I played host to a simulcast of a Phish concert at a Regal Cinema back in 2004, the band just never grabbed me. Actually, I'm not huge into the ''jam band'' scene in general. Why am I telling you this? Well, it's because the crew over at Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star just hit The Rock Father™ with the news that they've just released Lullaby Versions of Phish. And since I know that there's a lot of parents out there that will love having this collection for their little ones, I can't mention the band without sharing my own thoughts. Haven't had Phish Food in a few years... might have to put it on the grocery list. Tracklisting and cover art below, along with a stream of If I Could.
