DIE HARD: Now They Have Pop Vinyls, Ho-Ho-Ho!

Let's make something very clear right now: DIE HARD  is a Christmas movie. Same goes for its first sequel, DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER. There is no debate, period. With that in mind, it's exciting that Funko and 20th Century Fox have teamed-up for a new collection of Pop! Vinyl figures. Available for pre-order via my affiliates, Entertainment Earth and GameStop, there's John McClane (Bruce Willis), Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), Sgt. Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson) and Tony Vreski (Andreas Wisniewski), along with a GameStop-exclusive version of Hans rockin' his long coat. A pick for my 2018 Holiday Wish Guide, these figures would make the perfect gift for the action lover on your list. Now can we get Argyle and Ellis? If you want these, you better pre-order them now!

New Details on "Star Wars Resistance" Emerge...

Star Wars Resistance will make its debut on October 7th on Disney Channel (10 p.m. ET/PT) and DisneyNOW and this week the cast and creatives began making the media rounds, starting with a press conference in Burbank. While we can expect to start seeing interview features from that roll out shortly, the bigger news is that Lucasfilm has issued the official synopses for the first five episodes of the series. Check out all the details below...

After releasing a new poster yesterday, today MGM has issued the second full trailer for CREED II. Amping up the drama of the Drago vs. Creed family rivalry that began in 1985's ROCKY IV, the this new look at the film shows a young man that's very much at a crossroads - potentially ignoring the warnings of those who may know better in an effort to avenge the death of his father. Check it out below...

As announced not long ago, Spin Master's Hatchimals HatchiBabies will become available on Hatchimals Day, October 5. Can the Hatchimals be a hit for a third year in a row? Had you asked me earlier this year, the cynical part of me would've said no... but having seen the toys (shhh!) and some early pre-order sales data, I'm saying yes! While the new arrivals to the Hatchery Nursery are available for pre-order now through October 4 (while supplies last) at retailers across the country including Target, Walmart and Amazon, getting one of these on launch day might be tricky, but now there's even more details on how it's all gonna go down. In addition to the previously-announced launch event at The Grove in Los Angeles, the Amazon Treasure Truck will be delivering HatchiBabies with a fleet of 28 trucks across 25 cities, and there's plenty of retailer events and exclusives. Check out all the details below and get those pre-orders in for the holidays!

Taking a look at the just-announced voice cast for the much-anticipated KINGDOM HEARTS III, you'd think that Square Enix was crafting a feature film instead of a video game. For the new game (out January 29, 2019), they've managed to bring together an all-star cast of talent to reprise the roles that they've made famous in films from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney•Pixar. Check out the full list of talent below...

With two Girl Scouts here at Rock Father™ HQ (a Daisy and a Junior), it feels like we just finished Girl Scout Cookie season... and maybe we did. But in just a few months, it's all going to be ramping up once more and for 2019 the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) will team up with the DC Super Hero Girls to inspire more girls to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest girl-led entrepreneurship program in the world. Announced jointly by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment alongside the GSUSA, this new collaboration will foster the female leaders of tomorrow through the 2019 Cookie Pro contest. Using the power of the DC Super Hero Girls, the contest will inspire Girl Scouts to be smart and courageous as everyday Super Heroes. It will also highlight and reward exceptional cookie bosses who take the lead, set high goals for themselves, bring positive change to their communities, and learn valuable entrepreneurial skills. Get the full details via the official announcement below...
