It is 1° as I sit in my office typing this right now. For those of you that don't live in a cold weather climate, I'll explain that it's right about this time every year when we in Northern Illinois have just about had it with the cold and start looking forward to warmer weather. Here at Rock Father HQ, working in the yard is something we look forward to, and this year in particular I can't wait to have the snow melted and get out there. As I throw open the virtual doors of my Gardening section here on THE ROCK FATHER for 2015, my first entry for the season ahead is a little news from the folks at Toro, who sent over the details on two new models of mowers that will soon be rocking neighborhoods Nationwide - the Toro Recycler All-Wheel Drive, and customizable TimeCutter Zero-Turn. Let's take a peek...

Toro Recycler All-Wheel Drive:

Taking on tough mowing conditions just got easier. With the new Toro® Recycler® All-Wheel Drive mower, professional-grade features come together to deliver an outstanding cut. You’ll get a great-looking lawn with a lot less effort.

Toro RecyclerThis new Recycler All-Wheel Drive mower delivers power to all four wheels, making it easier to climb hills and power through rough terrain. The increased maneuverability and traction achieved with the mower is paired with Toro’s exclusive Personal Pace® self-propel system to create a first-of-its-kind mowing experience. Personal Pace senses and adjusts to your walking speed without reducing the speed of the mower blade, allowing you to mow at your own pace. A traction assist handle offers more control, even in challenging areas, while new off-road tread tires give added grip.

Your lawn will look professionally manicured thanks to the Recycler Cutting System. An innovative front throw chamber and Toro’s Atomic® blade lift up the grass, suspend the clippings, and recut them before discharging them back into your turf. This super-fine mulch feeds the soil, giving it a healthy foundation to create a lush looking lawn.

When it’s time to bag, Toro’s Bag on Demand feature allows you to easily go from mulching to bagging with the flip of a lever. Recycler mowers also save time emptying the rear bag. Toro engineers improved the way grass clippings flow into the bag, sending them higher and farther toward the back. The result is a 25% better bag fill, which means less stopping and emptying.

This light, 22-inch steel deck Recycler All-Wheel Drive mower is powered by a 7.25 ft-lb gross torque Briggs & Stratton® 163cc OHV engine with Ready Start.* It’s backed by the Toro Performance 2-year full warranty, as well as Toro’s 3-year Guaranteed-To-Start (GTS) promise, and a new 3-year limited powertrain warranty that covers the sealed maintenance-free transmission and the engine. See your local Toro retailer for complete warranty details.

The new Recycler All-Wheel Drive model has an MSRP of $399. Look for it and all the other Recycler mowers in spring 2015 at Toro dealers and The Home Depot stores.
