In a world where digital Apps are taking over, I still prefer this archaic medium called "print" when it comes to books and magazines for my girls. The folks at Disney Publishing are keeping that spirit alive with the release of some new titles based on the lives of Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck in the days long before they met Mickey and Donald... back when they were growing up. I've been meaning to post this for about a week now, but it just kept getting pushed back until today. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist ZAKK WYLDE is indeed a Rock Father himself - just check out this home video of him singing I Thank You Child with his daughter. While that's certainly some compelling evidence, this recent trailer for his forthcoming book BRINGING METAL TO THE CHILDREN: The Complete Berzerker's Guide to World Tour Domination (out April 10 via HarperCollins) is just pure entertainment. I wish that my daughter's reading groups at the local library looked more like this. Take a look.
