Yesterday morning, little Finley and I had some time to spare in the morning, and she wanted to open a few blind bags before heading off to school. We decided to crack open a trio of Fisher-Price Imaginext blind bags - two from the new DC Super Friends Series 2, and one from the standard Series 7. Since the beginning, Fisher-Price has led the charge in getting kids started right with great toys that teach important skills -- always evolving with the times, making sure that their latest offerings have been able to provide the tools that kids and parents are looking for. With STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) being so important, the new Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar is an exciting new toy recommended for kids ages 3-6, and available now at Best Buy. Moving beyond the simple ABCs and 123s, the Code-a-pillar encourages little ones to practice critical thinking, problem solving, sequencing and planning - all in an easy-to-use, vibrant toy that's a lot of fun.
It's no secret that our garage here at Rock Father HQ is loaded with interesting rides for kids of all-ages. Among them are some Fisher-Price Power Wheels (The FROZEN Ford Mustang is the pinnacle right now), so I'm always curious what the folks over at Mattel are gonna be unleashing for each new year. Straight outta the 113th North American International Toy Fair in New York comes news that there's at least three new members of the Power Wheels Fleet, and they appear to be pretty sweet. Take a look...

When it comes to making, building, and creating with high-quality craftsmanship, few know the drill more than the big man in red - Santa Claus. If you've never had a chance to visit Santa's workshop in the North Pole, let me tell you that you're missing out. Sure, you might know Santa and his Elves for all the toys and games that they spend the first 11 months of each year creating, but the work that goes into keeping Santa's Sleigh running at top-speed is done in Speed Shop that rivals some of the best hot rod builders in the world - and Santa's ride is a 9 RP (that's Reindeerpower) force of gift delivering fury! The Elves know that Craftsman Tools power their workshop, and with that in mind you could give a gift that rocks for the budding maker on your list - whether they're young, old. naughty, nice, nice & naughty, or just getting started. Craftsman has a Holiday Gift Finder that can help you find just what's right, and as part of The Craftsman Crew, I'm sharing THE ROCK FATHER's Top Craftsman Gift Picks to highlight some of the best and brightest, alongside some sweet products - not just tools - that I bet you didn't even know that Craftsman had. Ho! Ho! Ho!
