2016 is already shaping up to be a huge year for fans of DC Comics, with DC SUPER HERO GIRLS rolling out, BATMAN v. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hitting theaters, and the grownups-only SUICIDE SQUAD following down the line. For the toy aisles, there's a new addition that's just been revealed, and it comes from some old "friends."

Toy StateThe folks over at TOY STATE have announced a new line of radio-controlled and lights & sounds vehicles to be released under their recently-acquired NIKKO brand, and they'll be featuring the SUPER FRIENDS. As a kid, SUPER FRIENDS were a big deal (I had those "Super Powers" action figures), and I've been known to show The Rock Daughters an episode or two of the classic cartoons. As with prior releases, SUPER FRIENDS will feature characters like BATMAN, SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN - all presented in kid-friendly goodness that support positive messages of friendship and teamwork.

"It's with great excitement that we announce our new global partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. DC Comics is a legendary brand and has been redefining the Super Hero genre for decades. It's not every day that someone gets an opportunity to say this, but we're thrilled to welcome Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and all of the DC Super Friends to the Toy State team!"Andy Friess, Toy State president

Stay tuned for details as these super new rides get ready to roll next year... I think the girls will approve:
