Halloween will be behind us, but the MONSTERS will continue to roar as Feld Motorsports returns to the Chicagoland area with the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series, coming to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois for a weekend of big thrills, November 2-4, 2018. This marks the first time that Monster Jam has made a November stop in Chicago, usually hitting the market in February. This year's action will feature eight of most intense athletes of Monster Jam as Chicago-area fans will witness a fierce battle for the championship with each competitor using customized high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and the famous Monster Jam trucks. Do you hear the rumble? The folks at Spin Master just inked a "monster" deal with Feld Entertainment - one that will see them begin a 10-year partnership as the worldwide master toy partner for MONSTER JAM beginning in 2019. "This decade-long brand partnership with Spin Master will grow the Monster Jam toy line exponentially, engaging new and current fans, while reinforcing the Monster Jam franchise as one of the most exciting and fastest growing in all of motorsports," noted Kenneth Feld, CEO, Feld Entertainment.  For longtime fans of Monster Jam, this news marks some big changes ahead.

It's no secret that we're big fans of Hot Wheels here at Rock Father HQ. We're also big fans of Feld Motorsports' MONSTER JAM, and the marriage of both with the 1:64-scale Hot Wheels Monster Jam vehicles by Mattel. Last year, Feld got into the seasonal spirit with a limited-edition Halloween Grave Digger release, one that I featured here on the site (it was later featured on Hot Wheels' official social networks) as part of my 31 Days of Halloween. Like all good  creepy things, the only way to keep it going is with a sequel, and for 2015 it's arrived in the form of a Hot Wheels Monster Jam Halloween Edition ZOMBIE Truck! Just like last year, up to 5,000 of these will be made, and that's it! Driver Sean Duhon's fan-favorite truck has been reissued in a Halloween paint-scheme and an accompanying package filled with pumpkin-y goodness. Here it is rockin' the road in front of our "graveyard" here at HQ...

I just had to disappoint my girls. Feld Motorsports is bringing MONSTER JAM back to the Chicago area, and we can't go this time. Since I took Addie to her first MONSTER JAM last year, those Monster Trucks have become a huge deal here at Rock Father HQ, with both of my girls amassing a pretty solid collection of the 1:64-scale replicas that Mattel produces as part of the Hot Wheels line. In fact, the Hot Wheels Team even used one of my personal photos on their Facebook page to usher in the fall season last year - the Halloween Grave Digger! While we can't make it to this run of shows, Feld Motorsports and THE ROCK FATHER are teaming up to give one (1) lucky family a chance at attending with a Family Pack of four (4) tickets to see #MoreMonsterJam on either February 5 or 6, 2015. And if you'd like to buy tickets at a discount? We've got your hook-up on that as well. This year, #MoreMonsterJam brings more of what fans have been asking for, read on for details!

Now, perhaps you're thinking to yourself, "Hey Rock Father! Didn't you already feature Halloween Grave Digger?" - and you'd actually be right... but not like this.  Last month, I posted news that Mattel was producing a Hot Wheels Monster Jam Halloween Edition Grave Digger monster truck, limited to a run of "up to 5,000 pieces" to be sold exclusively through Feld Motorsports' website. And, if you were looking closely, you may have even seen Grave Digger make a cameo appearance here, but it's only fitting that this glorious monster truck get a proper feature in 31 Days of Halloween, and what better way to do that than to show him in-action at a pumpkin patch?
