Funko's Pop! Rocks line has been a favorite of mine this past year, and in 2019 we already have an idea of where things are headed. This week, Funko announced their first-ever AC/DC Pop! Vinyl Figure that presents the band's iconic guitarist, Angus Young, ready to rock in his signature schoolboy uniform. Available for pre-order via my friends at Entertainment Earth, the standard figure features a black suit, while randomly-packed Chase editions feature a blue suit with devil horns and an "A" on the hat. Get yours today!

Jem and the Holograms is a legendary property that still has yet to see a truly proper relaunch. The live-action film wasn't right, and while Hasbro has licensed it out for high-end dolls and a pretty cool comic from IDW Publishing, it still feels like there's a lot of untapped potential to be had. Now Funko is testing the waters with a pair of Pop! Vinyl figures that represent one of the greatest rivalries in the history of animated bands. Jem will be available soon along with Pizzazz Gabor of The Misfits, and both of these figures are available for pre-order now via my affiliates at Entertainment Earth!

As the end of 2018 draws near, we're just three months out from the theatrical launch of Marvel Studios' CAPTAIN MARVEL - a film with a lot riding on it when it comes to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course that also means a bunch of new toys and collectibles, and the folks at Funko are right out in front with the announcement of a full range of Pop! Vinyl Figures, Pocket Pop! Keychains, Pens and Dorbz. As always, it's the core Pop! Vinyls that will be the most sought-after, and for Captain Marvel that's gonna me a lot of running around for completists. From a consumer standpoint, I'm not a big fan of exclusives, though retailers use them to draw the crowds. For Captain Marvel, that means keeping an eye out at mass retailers, specialty shops like Entertainment Earth and hunting down variants at GameStop, FYE, Walmart, Target, Boxlunch and Hot Topic to collect them all!

In Walt Disney Animation Studios' Ralph Breaks the Internet, the Oh My Disney Princess scene (which I went behind-the-scenes of here) is one buzzed-about moment that's had people talking for months (SPOILER ALERT: The Disney Princesses are rather important in the grand scheme of things). Of course, many kids (and some grownups) have left the theater with a desire to own the Disney Princesses, and from Funko's Rock Candy line comes a collection of must-have vinyl figures that are going to be pretty well-wished-for this holiday season. Seven of them can be ordered via my friends at Entertainment Earth, while some of the others are retail exclusives to Target and others. Check this out...

Nobody puts these Pops in a corner! That's right, straight from Kellerman's Resort in the Catskill Mountains comes the Funko Dirty Dancing Baby Pop! Vinyl Figure #696 and Dirty Dancing Johnny Pop! Vinyl Figure #697! The best dancers of 1987 are now available for pre-order from my friends at Entertainment Earth. Long before Dancing With the Stars, there was Dirty Dancing - a film that inspired countless mishaps while trying to duplicate that epic lift in which Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) carried Frances "Baby" Houseman (Jennifer Grey) on the dance floor in front of a packed house.

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise, and as part of a year-long celebration, many products have been released that throw things back to where it all began... the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The camp charm of the original series brought forth a host of memorable characters, but no villain has been more suited for the Halloween season than the big bad of the Power Rangers' 1994 "Trick or Treat" episode - the Pumpkin Rapper. While it was The Nightmare Before Christmas that really drove home the title of "Pumpkin King" for Jack Skellington, there's been many Jack-O-Lantern-headed creatures that have terrorizing (or amusing) the masses for years and the Pumpkin Rapper is one of the best! For 2018, Funko brought the character into the Pop! Vinyl range for an exclusive figure available Only at GameStop. I recently bought one at our local GameStop store, and it only seemed right that we took the Pumpkin Rapper with us to the pumpkin patch...
