By this time back in 1989, thanks to Tim Burton's feature film, it was the Summer of BATMAN and by year's end, Bat-fever was everywhere. Just days before Christmas, Sunsoft released Batman: The Video Game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and nearly 30 years later it's still looked upon fondly as a classic game from the era. Now, the color scheme and spirit of that 8-Bit goodness is inspiring Entertainment Earth's latest SDCC-exclusive figure from Funko to be officially revealed right here on The Rock Father™ Magazine! The Batman Video Game Deco 8-Bit Pop! Vinyl Figure* will make its debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343, and I've got your official first-look as an affiliate partner of Entertainment Earth...

After a long, 14-year wait, the Parr family is back on the big screen with Disney•Pixar's Incredibles 2 blasting into theaters for a new tale filled with heroic action! Now, The Rock Father™ has teamed-up Fandango and the all-new Fandango FanShop to give you a shot at getting geared-up for the movie in-style with a truly incredible prize pack. Three (3) lucky readers will receive bundles including a limited-edition Fandango Gift Card, plus a Funko Pop! vinyl figure, t-shirt and more!

Back in 2015, Entertainment Earth (an affiliate of The Rock Father™) partnered with Funko for an exclusive glow-in-the-dark Pop! Vinyl Bobblehead of Thanos, based on his appearance in Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy. A double-sized 6" figure, this version of the "Mad Titan" sold out quickly, but no one could've predicted just how popular Thanos would be three years later. Thanks to his finger-snapping villainy in Avengers: Infinity War, Funko and Entertainment Earth are doing a second run of the popular figure - the only 6" Funko Thanos that can currently be purchased new (an Avengers version sold as a Hot Topic exclusive is now only found on the secondary market). Pre-orders are open now with delivery expected in September.

Updated 5/21/2018 - Hopefully you were there for GameStop's most recent Pro Day Event, which took place on May 19 - another momentous occasion for Pros to buy games, gear, accessories, collectibles and more for super-low prices that are even lower than the low prices that they enjoy every day. You could say that Pro Day offers "heroic savings" during a single epic one-day event, and if the folks at GameStop were to go any lower they'd risk fracturing Earth's tectonic lithosphere plates. If you missed it, fear not! This is a perfect opportunity to become a PowerUp Rewards Pro or Elite Member and then keep an eye on the Pro Day site for when the next one will go down. In the meantime, The Rock Father™ and GameStop are teaming-up like Mario and Luigi to give YOU a chance to score a PowerUp Prize Pack right here! It's a chance to gear-up for summer with a sampling of items from some of the awesome companies that make Pro Day happen with brands you love like PDP Gaming, Funko, PowerA, Gunner Optiks and more. Ready to rock? Let's take a look at the latest installment of GameStop TV for a preview of some much-anticipated upcoming games, then enter for your chance to win below...

If you haven't seen Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War yet, what I'm about to share with you might be considered SPOILER territory... but it's not actually something that's in the film. In fact, it's something that is 100% not in the film, but based upon the earlier marketing materials (photos, trailers, tv spots) it is something that you might go into the film expecting to see. More below the jump...

Avengers: Infinity War is the biggest superhero spectacle of all-time (see my review), and along with the film comes one of the coolest collections of Marvel merch in recent memory. At the recent #InfinityWarEvent in Los Angeles coinciding with the World Premiere of Marvel Studios' 19th film, I had a chance to take a look at the full line inside a private showroom at Disney Consumer Products & Interactive. But what fun is just looking? Thanks to my partners at Disney, Entertainment Earth, Hasbro and others, The Rock Daughters™ and I have amassed quite a collection. After all, even Thanos is a bit of a collector himself, tough he's more into Infinity Stones than I. Here's a look at some of the coolest items out there!
