The crew over at Volo Auto Museum are known to buy-and-sell vehicles on a regular basis, including hundreds of "star cars" - those made famous on-screen. While there may have been occasional regrets on letting one go, now they're bringing one back that they so fully regretted selling that they've bought it for a third time - and they were willing to pay more than they made on its sale: Dominic Toretto's 1970 Dodge Charger R/T from 2001's The Fast and The Furious. It's not a replica, and it's not a stunt car - it's the real-deal hero vehicle.

If you're like me and have always wanted to own a Hollywood-inspired "star car," a chance to do so is on the way. Volo Auto Museum in Illinois is clearing out their storage vault to raise money and create room for their forthcoming Punishment and Crime Museum, set to open in 2019. The auction will be held via eBay beginning on September 19, 2018. Those who visit Volo often know it to be a museum where the collection is ever-changing, and sometimes that means some surprises will come up for sale... and when they do, it's because the museum is getting ready to buy. Among the items headed to auction this September are screen-used vehicles from Furious 7, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Ant-Man & The Wasp, American Gangster, Tucker: A Man and His Dream and more, along with replica vehicles based on famous rides from Scooby-Doo, Mad Max, Knight Rider and Back to the Future.

Universal's Fast & Furious franchise roared back into theaters this year with THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, the eighth feature film in the series. While there have been several different toy lines released based on the individual films, aside from the occasional Hot Wheels release, there hasn't been a really kid-focused collection of toys until now. Mattel's Fast & Furious collection includes several sub-lines of vehicles and playsets in different scales, one of which is the Stunt Stars assortment - 1:32-scale plastic vehicles, each paired with a small action figure and packed with special "stunt" features inspired by scenes from across the various films in the saga. Kids can now recreate their favorite Fast & Furious scenes, or create completely new adventures in small-scale.

I couldn't tell you what's happening on the field, but a ton of this year's biggest movies are rolling out TV spots during the "Big Game," not to be confused with the NFL's "Super Bowl." if you're like me and only care about the national sporting event for the commercials, check out the latest look at Universal Studios' The Fate of the Furious - the 8th installment of the high-octane franchise.

FF LogoOne of my favorite places on the planet is Universal Studios Hollywood - despite having only spent a little under three hours there in February of 2014 on what I dubbed my "World's Fastest One-Man Tour of Universal Studios" (though I have visited Universal CityWalk a few times)The pictures were on my socials as I had just enough time to make my way down the hill to TRANSFORMERS: THE RIDE, back up to the famous park tour (thankfully, no lines!) and a walk around to soak in the vibe before hitting the gift shop and heading for LAX (I'd been in town on a project and the folks at NBC Universal were kind enough to spot me a badge for a quick visit). Now there's even more reason to head back (as if my girls' love of the MINIONS and my wife's HARRY POTTER fixation wasn't enough), as FAST & FURIOUS--SUPERCHARGED has been revealed to be opening on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Today, Universal Studios Hollywood sent over a link of some first-look footage of the new attraction, and you can see it below...

Seven movies in, and for the first time, I actually have a desire to see a film from THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise. I was lost on the first two movies, which I thought at the time (perhaps a revisit is in order?) were terrible - the first I recall being worse than I'd expected. So I tuned out for the next four installments, and here lands the trailer for FURIOUS 7, and I'm in. Directed by James Wan (SAW) and with Jason Statham (EVERYTHING) joining the massive ensemble cast, how the crew has become parachuting globetrotting government agents (?) with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kurt Russell is beyond me, but the film that the late Paul Walker was working on prior to his untimely death is now planted firmly on my "most anticipated" list for 2015. Check out the trailer below...
