The team over at IAmElemental has been doing some fantastic things, most notably being the first to bring new elements of play to an under-served market with the launch of their first wave of female action figures designed specifically for girls (and boys). While they'd been on my radar for awhile thanks to my friend Drew, I finally got some hands-on time with IAmElemental during the Sweet Suite portion of Blogger Bash back in July. An early pick in my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide (launching soon), today came word that IAmElemental is bringing its superheroes into the fight against pediatric cancer in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The company's popular Courage Core Power female action figures – modeled on Joan of Arc and embodying Bravery, Energy, Honesty, Industry, Enthusiasm, Persistence and Fear – are being deployed to comfort and inspire children and their families affected by these devastating diseases.

WWEFor the past few weeks, my friends at WWE have been helping to raise funds and awareness for the efforts of Susan G. Komen and their mission to find a cure for breast cancer. With their third-annual partnership in full-effect, the second half of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month has begun, and now I'm calling on readers of THE ROCK FATHER to help spread the word with a tweet (details below), and in turn get a chance to win a really cool, WWE Authentic #CourageConquerCure t-shirt (Adult XL) - the same one that many of your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas have been wearing in and out of the ring this month. I will even ship it to you personally, in a really cool box, courtesy of WWE.

WWE"Breast cancer is not just an issue that affects women, it affects families," explained WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon as we met up in Chicago once more this past Monday to celebrate the launch of WWE's third annual partnership with Susan G. Komen in an effort to raise funds and awareness to smackdown the terrible disease that touches millions of families each year. "My mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor," she continued, elaborating on how cancer is an issue with a very personal connection to her family, and one very concerning since she and husband Paul Levesque (Triple H) are raising three daughters of their own. As National Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, WWE has "gone pink," and on the October 6 installment of Monday Night Raw on USA, there will be a few special guests...
