Hot on the heels of announcing their new album HELP US STRANGER (out June 21 via Third Man Records), The Raconteurs – Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler – have announced an extensive run of North American headline tour dates. These new dates, spanning from July to October, include previously-announced US festival appearances at Woodstock 50 and Railbird. The band will kick off their world tour with their first trip to Australia and New Zealand later this month, as well as stops in Japan, Europe, and the United Kingdom before returning to the US for their North American tour. 

Whitesnake will release their new studio album "Flesh & Blood" via Frontiers Music Srl on May 10th. This week, the band issued its third single from the new album. Listen to “Hey You (You Make Me Rock)” below.

MIKE + THE MECHANICS released their ninth studio album, OUT OF THE BLUE, via BMG. It captures the evolution of some of the band’s most loved hits throughout their 35-year career with brand new recordings (on deluxe version), as well as introducing fans to the band’s future with three brand new tracks: “One Way,” “What Would You Do” and the album’s lead single of the title track. A video for “Out Of The Blue” was recently released and can be seen below.

Former members of pioneering post-hardcore band Dag Nasty, including Doug Carrion and Peter Cortner, and former Down By Law guitarist Mark Phillips, have announced plans to play a select number of shows this summer under the under the moniker Field Day, with new music to follow in 2020.

Perhaps the most notorious outcasts of the Dag Nasty franchise to date, Carrion and Cortner performed on Dag Nasty’s landmark recordings 'Wig Out at Denko’s' (Dischord Records) and 'Field Day' (Giant Records), and played some 300 shows throughout the United States and Canada in the late 80’s. These recordings are credited as cornerstones of what was eventually termed melodic hardcore, and inspired new bands like Pennywise and Rise Against.

The Atlantic hurricane season officially runs from June 1 through November 30 each year. Tropical cyclones in the North Atlantic Ocean are called hurricanes, tropical storms, or tropical depressions. In addition, there have been several storms in history that have not been fully tropical and are referred to as subtropical storms or subtropical depressions, meaning they aren't as damaging (though they still can be devastating).

According to a recent survey, about 51% of homeowners are planning on either beginning or continuing home renovation projects. Working with trusted contractors is generally recommended, especially for more advanced tasks, but plenty of homeowners still enjoy getting their hands dirty and doing the work themselves.
