"Tracy already had a son, Armand, who was 15, and we had planned to have a child," explains Tom George, recalling the moment when he discovered that he'd soon become a father for the first time. "She hadn’t been feeling well and took a pregnancy test. When she told me I was extremely happy," he continues, sharing some thoughts on Fatherhood ahead of Rock Father's Day 2014. A work-at-home Dad and fellow "Rock Father," Tom runs the rapidly-growing FiXT Publicity, and has been featured almost weekly here on THE ROCK FATHER, taking part in the 2014 Fitness Challenge

With Rock Father's Day less than a week away, there's quite a few companies that are showing respect for Dads and the changing face of Fatherhood... some of which you've even seen featured here on THE ROCK FATHER. While the efforts of all are appreciated, Father's Day wouldn't be complete without an appearance by one company that has been championing Dads from the start, featuring #RealDadMoments each and every day, 365 days a year, spreading smiles through their social networks and helping to show Dads in a positive light. Just this morning, my friends at Dove Men+Care have issued a new video - one that even features a few guys I know - and it's a video you should definitely watch. Take a look...

A little over a month ago, I reviewed The Silverlit Nano Falcon - the world's smallest RC helicopter. People are still asking me about it, and the crazy thing is that it's a requested activity daily here at Rock Father HQ... daily. The girls ask me to pilot it for them every single day - and I do. I like to think it's the Island Hopper from MAGNUM P.I. as I allow it to fly throughout my office and the rest of the house. But enough about our house - how about YOURS? With Rock Father's Day coming, I'm throwing this out there as a Gift Guide item, and the folks at Silverlit and I are teaming up to get one lucky reader hooked up with one of these choppers to call their own - a $50 value!

"I think I was in our bathroom and the wife said 'IT'S POSITIVE!,'" recalls Shaun Glass of THE BLOODLINE and BROKEN HOPE while discussing the moment he realized he'd soon become a father for the very first time. "I just was overwhelmed and couldn't believe it! It hit me the next morning, lying In bed thinking, 'Wow I'm going to be a father,'" he continues, thinking about his earliest days as a "Rock Father," ahead of #RockFathersDay 2014 as he prepares the next moves in his lengthy musical career, with one album by BROKEN HOPE just-released, and another from THE BLOODLINE in production now...
