This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise, and as part of a year-long celebration, many products have been released that throw things back to where it all began... the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The camp charm of the original series brought forth a host of memorable characters, but no villain has been more suited for the Halloween season than the big bad of the Power Rangers' 1994 "Trick or Treat" episode - the Pumpkin Rapper. While it was The Nightmare Before Christmas that really drove home the title of "Pumpkin King" for Jack Skellington, there's been many Jack-O-Lantern-headed creatures that have terrorizing (or amusing) the masses for years and the Pumpkin Rapper is one of the best! For 2018, Funko brought the character into the Pop! Vinyl range for an exclusive figure available Only at GameStop. I recently bought one at our local GameStop store, and it only seemed right that we took the Pumpkin Rapper with us to the pumpkin patch...

2018 will mark the 25th Anniversary of Saban's Power Rangers franchise, and while the year-long Power Rangers 25th Anniversary celebration officially begins in January, the excitement begins today with the reveal of the brand-new 25th Anniversary logo and details on some of the anniversary programs and partnerships that Power Rangers fans can enjoy in the year to come. "You've Got the Power" will be a multi-tiered program "to encourage, enable and empower children and adults to unleash their inner superhero" by focusing on efforts "that embody the core pillars of the Power Rangers brand: friendship, inclusivity, diversity and teamwork."

On March 24, Lionsgate will bring SABAN'S POWER RANGERS into theaters, and at the same time, Varèse Sarabande will unleash the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally (CD available April 21, 2017). The soundtrack features the original music by composer Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7) and the exclusive track “Give It All” performed by With You, featuring Santigold and Vince Staples.
