Preview: Jim Norton - "No Baby For You!"

So if you're reading this, you've been lured into the grownups-only section of The Rock Father - the Comedy Section where the content is anything but "family friendly." In fact, what I've got for you tonight even ties into the whole "parenting" theme of my website, albeit in an opposite direction. JIM NORTON has a new comedy record out next Tuesday, and it's called NO BABY FOR YOU(pre-order on iTunes). Want a preview of the NSFW goodness? Scroll down, my friends...

This is one of those stories that proves why I don't let the 'Comedy' headlines go on the front page with the family-friendly fare. That said, I still love me some comedy, therefore The Rock Father will continue to have this semi-hidden Comedy section under the ''...for Grownups'' tab. That said...

On July 2, just in time for the forthcoming 236th birthday party for The United States of America, DENIS LEARY will release his new single and video, 'Kiss My Ass.' Sure, it's similar to some other tracks he's done in the past, but that just makes it classic Leary.

It seems like a lifetime ago that JIMMY FALLON released his first comedy album, THE BATHROOM WALL. Actually, it's been a decade since I purchased that album (I still have it), and now Fallon is finally getting around to album number two. The difference this time around is that 2012 Fallon is the host of LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON, a successful late night television program that you've probably watched on occasion. Last time, 2002 Fallon was a Saturday Night Live cast member known for breaking out the acoustic guitar for some musical humor. Instead of prepping an album's worth of new studio tracks, BLOW YOUR PANTS OFF is musical comedy taken directly from his namesake show. Does it deliver? That depends on how much you dig the source material.

It's been over a decade since TENACIOUS D first rocked speakers with their phenomenal debut album, and in that time the duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass have witnessed their comedic musical offspring take a career path much like the bands they've been known to parody. The epic first album followed by a sophomore slump, the backlash, years of inactivity, and finally the inevitable rise from the ashes. It would be pretty funny if this was actually all by design. Ha Ha - the joke's on you, rock critics and music industry!
