It's been a big week for FORTNITE with the official release of the much-anticipated toys. Now there's some game news, as Epic Games has officially-announced the arrival of the rumored FORTNITE Creative - a new mode that lets players design games, battle friends in new ways, and build the Fortnite of their dreams. It all happens on their own private island where everything they make is saved. Check out the announcement trailer below!

If you happened to catch the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, you may have seen Kylo Ren Adam Driver as a middle-aged dad getting his first taste of the massively-popular FORTNITE. Playing alongside a pair of 15-year-olds (Pete Davidson and Kyle Mooney), Driver proudly alerts the others that his 11-year-old son loves the game, but it's his first time jumping into the Battle Royale. My own confession: despite covering FORTNITE for ages, I just downloaded it to my Xbox One a few weeks ago, somehow getting the "Victory Royale" twice within my first few matches. Somewhat creepily, one of the kids in my squad said he was 9-years-old (same as my oldest daughter) as he asked me if I "know about building stuff." The kids may have their FORTNITE, but they're always amazed when I tear them up while playing Street Fighter II. Check out the sketch below!

The Battle Royale just saw another major player drop from the bus, with Funko unleashing a huge assortment of their much-anticipated FORTNITE Pop! Vinyl Figures! Created in collaboration with Epic Games, these colorful characters arrive just in time for the holiday season, making them a perfect gift for the gamer or collector on your shopping list. My friends at Entertainment Earth (affiliate) just opened pre-orders for a full range of figures, each of which is listed below. Put them on a shelf or use them to act-out real-life battles on your desk or floor, just avoid the storm!

The Battle Royale just gained another major player. Hasbro has entered the arena, announcing a partnership with Epic Games to introduce a range of Fortnite inspired play experiences, including a line of officially licensed NERF Fortnite blasters, and a MONOPOLY: Fortnite Edition Game. They join the likes of Jazwares (action figures), Moose Toys (collectible figures under 3") and Funko (Pop! Vinyl) in getting a piece of the expanding Fortnite action!

I feel so out of the loop on the Fortnite craze - I've never played it and don't even know where to start. Now comes news that Thanos is getting involved for a limited time mashup and I'm really tempted to jump in. As of today, the Fortnite x Avengers Mashup is live, and a short teaser has been released. Check it out below and then see if you have what it takes to control the Infinity Stones...
