On July 16, MARIA BAMFORD will release her new comedy album, ASK ME ABOUT MY NEW GOD! via Comedy Central Records. Her new album is an audio recording of material she performed on MARIA BAMFORD: THE SPECIAL SPECIAL SPECIAL! last year, including bits where she recites Paula Deen’s recipes as a suicide note, speaks pretend Spanish, and shares many of her family’s unique life perspectives. Tracks include “Gas Station Recipes,” “Over 40 and Dating” and “Dark Dad.” The CD version of the album also includes a bonus DVD of Bamford’s two half hour episodes of Comedy Central Presents from season eleven and season five of the series.

MINISTRY is a band that just will not die. In fact, I believe that as long as there is AL JOURGENSEN, there will be MINISTRY. Despite "final tours" and the occasional "final album," MINISTRY somehow manages to rise again, morphing into slightly different incarnations with new personnel and new music. On Friday June 28th Comedy Central will premiere the first one-hour comedy special from Owen Benjamin when Owen Benjamin: High Five Til It Hurts airs  Midnight ET/PT. In the new special recorded with a live audience at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX, Benjamin breaks out the musical jams by riffing on TIMBALAND, EDDIE VEDDER, BEETHOVEN, and more... on piano. He also covers talking his way out of speeding tickets, to avoiding arrest by the TSA, and even uncovering the solution to road rage.
