Multi-Grammy nominated thrash icons Anthrax will see the band's long-awaited live-in-concert DVD, "Kings Among Scotland," released on April 27 (Megaforce). Update: The video has been taken offline. Odd given the age of the footage, and how fan footage of everyone exists these days, but YouTube shows a copyright claim by Warner Music Group.

Its existence has been discussed for years, but now, a full two decades later, footage of Corey Taylor's first live performance with Slipknot has surfaced. Recorded on VHS at the Safari Club in Des Moines, Iowa on August 24, 1997, the team at MFKR1 (a website devoted to Slipknot's pre-Roadrunner release Mate. Feed. Kill. I still remember the first time I saw KISS - it was on television, probably around 1980 or so, and I was at my cousin's house. I thought they were bizarre - but I was only four or so, and my mastery of The Force knowledge of rock was still a long way off. Decades later, KISS still puts on a Hell of a show, and on August 26th a new concert film is bringing them back into our homes with the Eagle Rock Entertainment release of KISS ROCKS VEGAS - available in several configurations, including the audio-only on vinyl, digital and CD. Today comes an extended clip of "Rock and Roll All Nite" - check it out!
