Tom Freund has been covering Pete Townshend's 1980 single "Let My Love Open the Door" as a part of his live shows since 2008. Now, with the help of friend and frequent collaborator, Ben Harper, the world has a studio version of this ukulele-driven cover to enjoy. "We’ve played it ‘live” in various corners of the world, from the Alps of Italy to the lower Manhattan subterranean," said Freund of the track, adding that "this year felt like the right time to lay it down in the studio." The critically acclaimed QUADROPHENIA marked the British band’s second rock opera (after Tommy), raised the bar for rock albums as an art form and hit #2 on the U.S. Billboard album chart.
