The Random Rock N More: Updates on over 40 Bands and Artists for May 31, 2012

Here we are with another installment of The Random Rock N' More, the column where the Music for Grownups section takes a place on the homepage. Be warned, many of these artists cannot be considered 'family-friendly,' but this is their time. As part of a balanced musical diet, there's a little of everything here from mainstream rock to pop to pop punk to black metal, hip-hop, indie rock, and more.   1. SLIPKNOT has released another ANTENNAS TO HELL teaser, this featuring #1 - Drummer Joey Jordison.
  2. DAVID BOWIE's ZIGGY STARDUST 40th Anniversary Edition is streaming at Rolling Stone for less than 24 more hours.
  3. THE REVEREND PEYTON'S BIG DAMN BAND are streaming "Devil's Look Like Angels" from their forthcoming album, BETWEEN THE DITCHES. The album arrives August 7 on SideOneDummy.
  4. JAY-Z and KANYE WEST have released a NSFW video for "No Church in the Wild" from their WATCH THE THRONE album.
  5. FUTURE OF THE LEFT are streaming their June 12th release, THE PLOT AGAINST COMMON SENSE over at Spin.
  6. WEEN has broken up after 25 Years, according to Gene Ween.
  7. SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS, a documentary about LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, will play theatres for one night only - July 18th. Tix go on-sale June 8.
  8. You can stream THE HIVES pretty awesome new album, LEX HIVES on Facebook.
  9. THE HENRY CLAY PEOPLE have a new song called "Hide," and you can stream it right here: Their new album comes out June 26th on TBD Records.
  10. STRONG INTENTION are streaming a new track over at Decibel.
  11. You can hear WINO (THE OBSESSED) covering TOWNES VAN ZANDT's "Nothing" at The Obelisk.
  12. You can now make the Billboard Top 200 by moving 2,700 copies of an album. Just ask SIX FEET UNDER, whose UNDEAD did just that.
  13. Speaking of charts, SLASH featuring MYLES KENNEDY and the CONSPIRATORS debuted at #4 with their new APOCALYPTIC LOVE.
  14. 10 YEARS will release a new album called MINUS THE MACHINE on July 31st. Check out the first track, "Backlash" over at Monster Energy.
  15. ATTIKA 7 will be featured heavily on The Discovery Channel's THE DEVIL'S RIDE on June 5th at 10pm ET/PT
  16. ADELE is getting her first network special. On June 3, NBC will air ADELE: LIVE IN LONDON WITH MATT LAUER. Check out a clip.
  17. 3 PILL MORNING are hitting the road with SEVENDUST. Details on Facebook.
  18. Jazz Singer MELODY GARDOT has released THE ABSENCE this week (get it on iTunes). Check out her EPK.
  19. BLACK SHEEP WALL are streaming their new record NO MATTER WHERE IT ENDS over at Metalsucks.
  20. Vancouver's BEND SINISTER will release SMALL FAME on July 10 via File Under Music.
  21. CHILDISH GAMBINO (aka Donald Glover) has a new track featuring BECK streaming over on his official site.
  22. DUNCAN continues his covers series with a new acoustic take on DAVID GUETTA's "Titanium"

  30. SoCal Car Show THE HOOTENANNY has a killer musical lineup featuring the REVEREND HORTON HEAT, RANCID, BOUNCING SOULS, and more. The event takes place on July 7. Details on their official site.
  31. THE CONTORTIONIST will release their new record "Intrinsic" on July 17th, 2012 via eOne/Good Fight Music.
  32. THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS have posted a video diary from Bamboozle.
  33. KANSAS is hitting the road with KINGS X and selling VIP Packages. Details on Facebook.
  34. FALL FROM GRACE hits the road starting tonight with SAVING ABEL and REDLIGHT KING.
  35. 19-year-old rapper/singer JAKE MILLER did some songs for Huffington Post's A-Sides.
  36. VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! are streaming a new track at Bloody-Disgusting.
  37. DAVE STEWART will debut his documentary THE RINGMASTER GENERAL AND THE BLACKBIRD DIARIES in Nashville on August 22. See the trailer.
