We're in the middle of #MaeWeek (May 19-23), and MAE is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album DESTINATION: BEAUTIFUL and the compilation, DESTINATION: B-SIDES with the super-limited Spartan Records release of the alum as a "unique vinyl variant" limited to just 100 copies. Going beyond just #MaeWeek, the band has scheduled an intimate one-time-only online performance at StageIt.com for June 7th. The show will feature the band performing from their studio and interacting with fans, all streaming live online and on mobile devices for ticket-holders.

It's always a special thrill when one of my favorite artists announces a new record - and that news arrives in my inbox completely unexpected. Such is the case with BRIAN SETZER, one of the greatest living guitarists, and one of my top ten favorite artists of all-time. On August 12, Surfdog Records will release ROCKABILLY RIOT: ALL ORIGINAL, a brand-new collection of straight-up rockabilly tunes from Setzer, who's backed by Mark Winchester (bass), Kevin McKendree (piano) and Noah Levy (drums). Recorded in Nashville, the album was produced by Peter Collins (who previously worked on Setzer's VAVOOM! and THE DIRTY BOOGIE).

On June 10, THE WHO will release QUADROPHENIA: LIVE IN LONDON, a concert captured in High Definition last summer, at the end of their 40th Anniversary Tour that celebrated the original album's 1973 release by erforming the full album front-to-back along with a collection of hits and fan favorites. Check out a preview and all the specs below!

She's one of India's biggest stars, a model for Guess, an actress and a growing pop artist. Today, Priyanka Chopra has released the music video for her cover of Bonnie Raitt's 1991 hit, "I Can't Make You Love Me," and her co-star for the clip is a familiar face to television fans. Actor Milo Ventimiglia (MOB CITY, HEROES, CHOSEN) appears as her would-be lover. Check it out below...

Watch: PRONG releases lyric video for TURNOVER

Written by

On May 13, one of my favorite bands (in my Top 4 of all-time, actually) will release their newest album, when PRONG unleashes RUINING LIVES. Today comes the first lyric video from the record, "Turnover," which can be viewed below.  RUINING LIVES will be released as a limited Digipak version that includes 1 bonus track and a poster, as a double gatefold colored vinyl version incl. 1 bonus track and the CD in cardboard sleeve, and as a standard CD version and download.

Last August, I mentioned that CRAZYTOWN was back into the ring, the latest in a growing number of bands from the late '90s/early '00s that have been making their presence known once more. Now, with a new album looming, the band has announced a handful of U.S. dates on the West Coast, followed by a run of European dates that includes stops at some high-profile festivals like DOWNLOAD and ROCK AM RING. Check out the details below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER....
