Capturing the band on their home turf, the setlist plays like a then-greatest hits along with newer tracks from their most recent effort at the time, LOW. Toss in a few acoustic bonus tracks, and LIVE AT THE FILLMORE is a solid live record that presents a legendary band in one of their best mass-released performances.

With thrash metal in the midst of a resurgence these past few years, it's no wonder that some of the original heroes from the genre's first go are coming back around to assault the ears of new listeners. While they never achieved the kind of commercial success as their Bay-Area peers like METALLICA, TESTAMENT has been a constant force in metal for nearly three decades. After reissuing an expanded version of their LIVE AT EINDHOVEN '87, Prosthetic Records has now given the same remastering treatment to TESTAMENT's 1995 album, LIVE AT THE FILLMORE.
