Prepare for the Coming of National Geographic's ROBOTS 3D...
On June 5, there's some Robots coming to the big-screen... specifically, the REALLY big screens. National Geographic Studios' ROBOTS 3D will premiere in Giant Screen, IMAX, and Digital 3D cinemas around the Globe, giving audiences an inside look at how hard it is to mimic what we humans can do as well as what it means to be a humanoid. One of the coolest parts? It's narrated by RoboThespian - an android that sounds an awful lot like actor Simon Pegg or SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ and STAR TREK fame.

For Grownups: Trailer - DIANI & DEVINE MEET THE APOCALYPSE
What does $100K raised on Kickstarter get you? A lot of different things, I'm sure, but for Gabriel Diani and Etta Devine, $101,145 has funded the product of DIANI & DEVINE MEET THE APOCALYPSE, a new film starring a who's who of familiar faces from "some of their favorite stuff" (as noted in their crowdfunding pitch). The first teaser for the film has arrived, with pre-orders now up on their official site. Judging from this, it looks like MAD MAX with pretzels and a shopping cart. Check it out...
WWE Studios and KISS Leader GENE SIMMONS Partner for EREBUS PICTURES...
Two titans have just announced an unholy alliance to create "elevated horror movies" - WWE Studios, and KISS icon GENE SIMMONS. This new partnership has spawned EREBUS PICTURES, a new company that will finance and produce films, starting with TEMPLE, written by Matt Savelloni (EXILE TO BABYLON). The film "will follow a team of highly trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down. While investigating the source of the malfunction, the crew begins to experience strange and horrific phenomena as they attempt to uncover who or what killed the team previously stationed at the compound."
