It's hard to believe, but this past summer marked the 10th anniversary of the premiere of ENTOURAGE on HBO. I was completely on-board from the first episode, and watching the show with friends became a weekly tradition. There were parallels to my own group of friends at the time, as I was in the midst of pursuing a career in film/tv, as were a couple others close to me - one of which was a rising actor. By the time the final season rolled around, I actually missed it and stayed completely spoiler-free until binge watching it earlier this year. Now, the first "official teaser" trailer for Warner Bros.' big-screen ENTOURAGE adventure has arrived, and it's reminded me just how sorely this show has been missed. Watch it below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER...

CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARECALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE (a top gift in my 2014 Holiday Wish Guide) is taking things to another level with a whole new breed of zombies. Following in the star-studded DLC of year's past,  John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal star in Exo Zombies, coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC in 2015 as part of the Havoc DLC Pack. This quartet of top talent stars as Atlas employees facing a new threat with no training or preparation. The first teaser is below - and it's not for the kiddies...

I have never seen an episode of BREAKING BAD, but stories like this make me want to dig in on Netflix. "Florida Mom" Susan Schrivjer of Fort Myers raised all kinds of trouble this past week, going after Toys "R" Us (a store I love, despite their reward program being... not very rewarding) for carrying Mezco's BREAKING BAD action figures in their "adult collectibles" section. In a lot of ways, TRU is much akin to this very site - carrying toys "for all ages," kids to grownups alike. There's a HUGE market for "adult collectibles," and just this past week I spotted the aforementioned figures on the pegs while I was checking out Diamond Select's new Minimates based on Kevin Smith's CLERKS. After a back-and-forth in the media, Toys "R" Us has pulled the figures, and the $15-$30 toys are now fetching $100+ on the secondary market. If you were hoping to score a set, be patient, as specialty retailers like my associates at Entertainment Earth will soon be well-stocked with all the BREAKING BAD characters that you're looking for - including exclusives that even TRU didn't have.

In THE FLUFFY MOVIE, comedian GABRIEL IGLESIAS (currently seen on ABC's CRISTELA) performs his hilarious stand-up act in one of the fluffiest movies ever made. Sporting one of his iconic Hawaiian shirts, Gabriel Iglesias traveled the nation in his “Unity Through Laughter” tour and didn’t fail to entertain with jokes about food, weight loss, his trip to India, and his son. In celebration of the THE FLUFFY MOVIE’s home release, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and THE ROCK FATHER have teamed-up to get one (1) lucky read hooked-up with the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD Combo Pack. Check out 7 of Gabriel Iglesias' Top Jokes below, and get those entries in!

There's a very slight chance that you might be having deja vu right now, as I did include the longform music video for PRODUCT OF HATE's THE UNHOLY MANIPULATOR in last year's 31 Days of Halloween. Reason it's back? I directed and edited the video, and it just became an Official Selection of the 2014 Open Wound Horror Film Festival, which means that those attending the Santa Fe Comic-Con next weekend will get a chance to see it on the big screen. When we filmed this, we'd always hoped that it would become something of a "perennial favorite" for each Halloween season, and that looks to be happening. After all, it's got some fairly horrific elements, and since I do run a family site, I wouldn't recommend this one for viewing around kids or at work (unless you work somewhere really cool).
