BEN FOLDS LIVE was released back in 2002 (I bought it when it came out, and still have it here at Rock Father HQ), but until now, there had never been an actual BEN FOLDS FIVE LIVE album. That changes on June 4th with the release of the official live album, BEN FOLDS FIVE LIVE (ImaVeePee/Sony Music Entertainment). Recorded in 2012-2013 during their first tour in over a decade, the new record will give listeners a preview of what to expect whent the band hits the road with BARENAKED LADIES and GUSTER for the LAST SUMMER ON EARTH 2013 Tour.

This is a Giveaway for Grownups. Oh, you weren't aware that I have a "For Grownups" section here on The Rock Father? Well, now you know. This is The Pop Culture  Website for Families that Rock... and that means the whole family... kids and grownups alike. I don't feature a lot of the grownups content here on the mainpage, but today I've got a giveaway from Comedy Central that's getting a little mainstream infiltration. DRUNK TEXTS TO MYSELF is the debut Comedy Album from TREVOR MOORE, better-known as one of The Whitest Kids U’ Know. The album features a lot of musical comedy (proper review forthcoming), but I have an extra copy to giveaway, so you now have a chance to own it...

CLUTCH - EARTH ROCKER (Album Review)

The reason? I'm The Rock Father now - a work-at-home Dad with two little ones running around. I'm an unapologetic CLUTCH fan, dating back to the days of the TRANSNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LEAGUE - a record that's 20 years old as of this year. As a guy that's literally worn out a few CLUTCH shirts (my favorite was the one with dual SGs on the sleeves - complete with flames) and hats over the course of two decades, I don't think the Maryland purveyors of fine rock can do much wrong. That said, I do have a problem with EARTH ROCKER, their 10th studio album...
