Static-X, Dope Gear Stolen from L.A. Warehouse

Written by

Nearly $200,000 worth of musical gear and touring equipment has been stolen from a warehouse space shared by STATIC-X and DOPE.

The bands, which are currently on touring hiatus due to the spread of coronavirus and the COVID-19 pandemic, filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department, which advised the bands to take the story public in hopes of raising awareness and potentially gaining leads on the whereabouts of the stolen gear.

This May, Dropkick Murphys and Rancid will hit the road together for the first time since 2017, for the co-headlining Boston To Berkeley II Tour with special guests Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon (on select dates) and Jesse Ahern supporting. Each night will culminate with Dropkick Murphys and Rancid on stage together for a joint encore.

As was the case on the original From Boston To Berkeley run in 2017, the final band of the night will vary by date, with either Dropkick Murphys or Rancid as the closing act.

This April, Allegaeon will hit the road with Fallujah, Entheos, and Etherius as direct support.

The band comments: "We are very happy to announce 'The Terrestrial Takeover Tour 2020' - a U.S. headliner with support from our amazing friends in Fallujah, Entheos, and Etherius. This lineup is such a total powerhouse of melodic and progressive death metal - we could not possibly be more excited to be taking this beast on the road."

With Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Ozzy Osbourne's highly-anticipated Ordinary Man out tomorrow, The Prince of Darkness has shared a special clip in advance of the release. But what is Aquaman Jason Momoa doing here?
