Sprout Kindness CrewIf you're new to THE ROCK FATHER, you might not know that I've actually written a couple of pieces for the "Parenting" section of Sproutonline, the digital extension of Sprout Channel (you can read them here and here) as a member of their "Kindness Crew." The 24-hour preschool channel has been an important part of our lives for the past four years, so it's always exciting when they have news to share, and today I have just that. Their March programming highlights begin NOW with Oscar Weekend, and wrap-up with the very-appropriate, Music Week. Take a peek at what goodies you and your little ones can enjoy together this month...

Oscar Weekend -- Friday, February 28 – March 2: Sprout celebrates its version of Oscar Weekend in its own rotten way. Oscar the Grouch stars in this weekend-long celebration of movies, launches a new season of Sesame Street on Sprout, and co-hosts The Sunny Side Up Show. Joining him on the green carpet is none other than Giuliana Rancic from E! News.

Pajanimal Pajama Party – Sunday, March 9: Get your family ready to “spring forward” with a special Sunday morning block hosted by the Pajanimals.

Scrambled April Fun Day – Tuesday, April 1: Celebrate the fun of April Fool’s Day with a day of playful fun. Wake-up with Nina, Star and The Good Night Show and “wind down” with Sprout’s live, daily Sunny Side Up Show, which will air at 6 pm.
