PBS KIDS: ARTHUR Helps with Summer Learning and Healthy Living...

PBS KIDSWe're officially in that lull where Summer Learning needs to be a real focus as we hit the midway mark before it's Back-to-School time. With that in mind, PBS KIDS' ARTHUR is getting in on the action with a brand-new (FREE!) online game called D.W. & BUDS BACKYARD ADVENTURE, available to play right now on PBSKIDS.org. In the game, "little explorers join D.W. and Bud as they embark on an epic backyard adventure - all by using their powers of imagination, collaboration, and problem solving. Maneuver past trap doors, collapsing floors, sliding walls, and other obstacles...including snakes...Collect all of the pieces to rebuild some golden statues that MAY look a little familiar." But that's not all that ARTHUR has in store for summer goodness...

For over 17 years, ARTHUR has helped kids deal with important health issues, and now comes the launch of the ARTHUR FAMILY HEALTH Website, which offers games, videos, and other resources designed to help parents and educators talk to kids about important health issues-from asthma, food allergies, and nutrition - to fitness and resilience. This new site is a fantastic resource for year-round use...

James Zahn

James Zahn is best-known as The Rock Father™, a media personality, commentator, adventurer and raconteur. He is the Owner, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of THE ROCK FATHER™ Magazine. In January, 2019, after nearly a decade of publishing The Rock Father™ Magazine, he joined Adventure Media and Events as Senior Editor of The Toy Book—the leading trade publication for the toy industry since 1984, as well as The Pop Insider — a destination for all things pop culture, and The Toy Insider — the leading consumer guide for toys and games. Creatively, James has directed/edited music videos, lyric videos, and album trailers for bands such as FEAR FACTORY, has appeared as an actor in feature films and commercials, written comic books, and performed in bands. He currently serves as an artist manager and video director for PRODUCT OF HATE, whose debut album was released by Napalm Records in 2016, distributed by ADA/Warner Music in the U.S. with Universal Music handling global. A new album has been completed and is set for release this year.
