Netflix Stream TeamVoltron is an important character around these parts, and after visiting DreamWorks Animation last year for a pre-debut first-hand look at what they were cooking up for Voltron: Legendary Defender, I was hooked on the new series. Now, DreamWorks Animation Television and Netflix have unleashed the proper trailer for season two, which begins streaming new episodes on Netflix on January 20th, picking up right where the cliffhanger of season one left off...

Team Voltron has been scattered throughout the universe in the aftermath of a perilous battle with Zarkon, Haggar and the evil Galra Empire. Working to bring the lions back together to form Voltron again, the Paladins' plan to defeat the Galra once and for all takes them across the universe in search of new worlds and unexpected allies. Find out if their plot to take down Zarkon succeeds when Season 2 of DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender premieres on Netflix January 20, 2017.

Beyond the series, Playmates Toys has issued the long-awaited new collection of toys (which I first covered back in February of 2016), which started to sneak into stores right around Christmas, and officially launched on January 1st. Get 'em while you can, and get ready to form Voltron!
