When the Netflix Original Series BEAT BUGS made its debut in 2016, families were quickly immersed in a vibrant new world inspired by the timeless music of THE BEATLES.  Following the adventures of five best friends -- Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz and Walter -- who band together to discover life's most important lessons in an overgrown suburban backyard -- Beat Bugs encourages lessons of friendship and problem-solving while introducing a new generation to some of the greatest songs of all-time. Mixing classic and contemporary, here The Beatles' music is performed by an all-star line-up of artists including Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Pink, Robbie Williams, Sia, Rod Stewart, Regina Spektor, James Corden, and late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell. With two seasons already streaming in full on Netflix, the Beat Bugs adventures are just getting started...

This summer, the Beat Bugs are inspiring musical fun at 178 My Gym locations in United States, United Kingdom and Australia. Through July, children who attend classes at My Gym will enjoy Beat Bugs music, games and other fun activities, including coloring sheets and puppet shows. As more and more families continue to discover and enjoy Beat Bugs, there's even more fun coming home this summer. James Zahn

James Zahn is not a journalist, nor a blogger, though he may be credited as such by others, or even accept the title... depending on the circumstance.  Instead, he considers himself largely to be an "entertainment and lifestyle writer," bringing 25+ years of experience in the entertainment and publishing industries into the family realm as THE ROCK FATHER™.

He currently serves as an artist manager and video director for Napalm Records' PRODUCT OF HATE.

James and/or his work have been featured in/on CNN, NBC, ABC, WGN, G4, The Chicago Tribune, BusinessWire, Babble, Fangoria, Starlog and more. He's appeared as a music expert on CNN's AC360 alongside Anderson Cooper, and has been interviewed by Larry King. In the past he served as a writer for  Fandango Family and PBS KIDS, penned articles for Sprout and PopSugar, and was a contributor to Chicago Parent.
