#31DaysOfHalloween: YouTube Names the Top Halloween Horror for 2017...

Written by

With most of October now behind us, more folks are seeking frights in the final days leading up to Halloween. The crew over at YouTube has seen an uptick in searches for terrifying content, and tonight they sent over a list of the Top 10 horror films that people have been searching for and watching on YouTube. Some, like 2013's The Conjouring, are surprising, while the return of the SAW franchise to theaters with Jigsaw is no doubt fueling interest in the earlier installments. Also, 1988's Child's Play makes the list, right alongside Cult of Chucky, which hit Netflix, Blu-ray and AMC this month. And did you think that Pennywise would be left out? Check out the full list below!

YouTube Top Horror for October 2017

  1. It (2017)
  2. The Conjuring (2013)
  3. Jigsaw (2017)
  4. Cult of Chucky (2017)
  5. Jeepers Creepers 3 (2017)
  6. mother! (2017)
  7. Saw (2004)
  8. Final Destination (2000)
  9. Jeepers Creepers (2001)
  10. Child's Play (1988)

Now, you want to know what's truly scary? The fact that Jeepers Creepers 3 made the list along the first film in the series. Director Victor Salva is a convicted child molester that filmed his crimes. It happened in 1988 (his victim was 12) on the set of his first film. That said, avoid the Jeeper's Creepers movies since Salva himself is a creeper. He may have served his time, but he's still a piece of garbage.
