Welcome to 2018: The Kylo Ren Challenge Has Begun (Thanks, John Mayer!)

Is Kylo Ren's body a wonderland? Following the now-classic Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base SNL sketch in which it is touted that Kylo Ren "is shredded" and "has an eight pack," Adam Driver had the chance to show the goods in Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Indeed, while some audiences (and Rey) were surprised to see a shirtless Kylo Ren hanging out on his First Order Star Destroyer,  others took note of his unusually high-waisted pants. One such viewer was John Mayer, and he rung in the new year by launching the #KyloRenChallenge on Instagram. As of this writing, there's over 1,043 participants on Instagram, proving that The Force is strong with those looking to show off what they've got. Don't want to see some skin? James and/or his work have been featured in/on CNN, NBC, ABC, WGN, G4, The Chicago Tribune, BusinessWire, Babble, Fangoria, Starlog and more. He's appeared as a music expert on CNN's AC360 alongside Anderson Cooper, and has been interviewed by Larry King. In the past he served as a writer for  Fandango Family and PBS KIDS, penned articles for Sprout and PopSugar, and was a contributor to Chicago Parent.
