It’s time to decorate! Not only is Wade Wilson returning to theaters for the holidays in Once Upon a Deadpool, but he can stop by your place, too. The chainsaw-wielding, chimichanga-noshing Merc with a Mouth is an excellent Marvel Legends 12-Inch Deadpool Action Figure. You even get Headpool, the flying propeller-beanie zombie head! This is a heck of a nice gift, an excellent desk decoration, and a terrific way to subtly hint what you’d like to go see in theaters in a few weeks. And he can sit next to you in the car! Of course, if this figure doesn't strike your fancy, you could always check out the entire selection of Deadpool toys and collectibles at Entertainment Earth. So... how about that new trailer?

Fun fact: When I was traveling to Los Angeles for the World Premiere of Avengers: Infinity War last month, I was wearing a pair of DEADPOOL High Tops that my friends at ThinkGeek sent me. Then, the following night - Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld and his son were a few steps behind me as we walked the purple carpet at the premiere. Me being the dork that I am, I neglected to say hello to the creator of the character whose style was adorning my feet not 24 hours earlier. A missed opportunity, but I'm still looking forward to the May 18 debut of DEADPOOL 2, and today we've got our first taste of the soundtrack... by Céline Dion. "Ashes" is the new music video staring Dion and Deadpool, and really it speaks for itself, so enjoy.

There's nothing like seeing a movie in 4DX. While the communal experience of seeing a movie on the big screen with an audience is always special, 4DX takes things to an entirely different level - from watching the movie to almost living in it. This fully immersive cinematic experience brings motion chairs and environmental effects like rain, snow, fog, wind, bubbles, lighting, and scent into each dedicated 4DX auditorium where they work in perfect synchronicity to transport audiences into the story unfolding onscreen. There's 10 4DX locations across the U.S., one of which our family has visited many times - Marcus Gurnee Cinema at Gurnee Mills. Now, with a ton of great films yet to come in 2018, The Rock Father™ Magazine and 4DX USA have teamed-up for a giveaway. Two readers will each score a prize pack that includes a pair of 4DX theater vouchers and some gear from the recent TOMB RAIDER film. You can use the vouchers to see an upcoming film in 4DX (winners will have to live close to one of the 10 locations). Right now PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING is playing, with Steven Spielberg's READY PLAYER ONE on-deck. What do you want to see in 4DX?

With the merger between The Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox currently underway, it was only a matter of time before some cross-pollination occurred. While many fans look forward to uniting some missing Marvel characters back with their counterparts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, today we've got our first look at some other opportunities that might present themselves. In the latest trailer for Fox's DEADPOOL 2, Ryan Reynolds takes it upon himself to make up for some unfinished visual FX by acting out scenes with action figures and Hot Wheels. In fact, it looks VERY much like my office here at Rock Father HQ. At one point, Deadpool pays homage to Tom Hanks' Woody from TOY STORY, donning the famous cowboy outfit and telling Cable (Josh Brolin) to "Reach for the sky!" Check it out...

DEADPOOL 2 will arrive in theaters this May, and while he's technically a character ripped from the pages of Marvel Comics, the antics of the entertaining, yet vulgar hero can make merchandising a little bit tricky. Ryan Reynolds' on-screen portrayal of "The Merc with a Mouth" has spun a lot of attention back toward the source material, and that's had fans and collectors eagerly-awaiting some new gear for 2018. Hasbro is answering the call for older fans, with a new assortment of comic-inspired DEADPOOL toys, including action figures and role-play items... in adult sizes! Check out the official details below, direct from my friends at Hasbro!
