As the summer movie season starts, we're starting to see a ton of glimpses into the future. It's been a massive week for movie trailers, and today we've got the first look at DreamWorks Animation's How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, which doesn't hit theaters until March 1, 2019. The third big-screen Dragons film caps off the trilogy and the this first-look presents it as perhaps the best of the series. After showing this to my girls, we're all hoping that PLAYMOBIL continues their Dragons toy line (more will be released this summer) so that we can get Toothless's new friend! Check out the new trailer, complete with Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill" which also featured in the trailer for last year's Ferdinand...

wishguide125My love of Playmobil runs deep - a toy line that I didn't personally have as a child, but one that I've long-admired as among the best toy brands in history. In the course of more than four decades of success, one thing Playmobil never really did until recently is enter the world of pop culture licensing. Launching into those waters among their hit Ghostbusters collection is one based on the world of DreamWorks DRAGONS - the hit Netflix Original Series spawned from the popular How to Train Your Dragon films. An Official Selection in my 2017 Holiday Wish Guide™, Playmobil DreamWorks DRAGONS Hiccup and Toothless brings the famous duo together in a classic style!

Netflix #StreamTeamAdventure. Being parents of two little girls, adventure is something we witness daily - fueled by the kind of imaginative space that we only wish we could re-live. To be a kid and be able to view the world as an infinitely big space filled with mystery is something that I miss, but seeing the girls have those experiences is something to behold. The Netflix Original Series DRAGONS: RACE TO THE EDGE (set in the world of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON) is all about adventure, too - and as a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam, a mystery box recently arrived here at Rock Father HQ... and guess what? It's contents were all about adventure, and they led to a special edition episode of UNBOXED for #RockFatherTV. Check this out...

I have to admit, though I have a copy of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON here at Rock Father HQ, the munchkins and I have not yet watched the spin-off series, DRAGONS: RIDERS OF BERK on Cartoon Network. In fact, other than knowing that T.J. Miller does a voice on there, I don't really know a ton about it. That said, I know a lot of you (or your kids) dig the show, and as such, the folks from DreamWorks sent over a handy guide on "How to care for your Dragon," along with an interactive quiz to promote the recent DVD release of the first four episodes of the show (available now from Walmart). Are you into DRAGONS? Scroll down...
