After releasing a new poster yesterday, today MGM has issued the second full trailer for CREED II. Amping up the drama of the Drago vs. Creed family rivalry that began in 1985's ROCKY IV, the this new look at the film shows a young man that's very much at a crossroads - potentially ignoring the warnings of those who may know better in an effort to avenge the death of his father. Check it out below...
Opening in theaters this week, MGM's Operation Finale, brings to life one of the most daring covert operations in modern history. Under the direction of Chris Weitz (About A Boy) and starring Academy Award winner Sir Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Schindler's List) and Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, X-Men: Apocalypse), the film vividly captures the ingenious and brilliantly executed mission to capture Adolf Eichmann, one of the chief architects of the Holocaust.
We all face challenges and struggles in life, and sometimes the balance between personal issues and work becomes a hard thing to maintain. In CREED II, the eighth film in the Rocky series, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) struggles with that very challenge - balance - as the saga comes full circle with echoes of 1985 as Creed prepares to face an unexpected adversary that wears familiar colors of red and gold... DRAGO. See the trailer below!
Don't play this with the kids around. Also, unless you work somewhere cool, you can probably consider this NSFW (not-safe-for-work) as well. Those helpful tips out of the way, today brings a third trailer for MGM's DEATH WISH remake, and this time around the Eli Roth-directed action flick is getting the GRINDHOUSE treatment. With a new, 70's-style trailer that recalls the 2007 Tarantino/Rodriguez collaboration to which Roth contributed the infamous "Thanksgiving," you can see the splatter-iffic action below. Again, don't show it to the kids. There's brains involved.
I support vigilante justice... if done properly. Of course, such behavior is technically still illegal, but I think it's a reflection of our society that makes characters like Batman and The Punisher so empowering and inspiring. Now, from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures comes director Eli Roth’s reimagining of the 1974 revenge thriller Death Wish - a film that epitomized a certain brand of vigilante action. Bruce Willis stars as Dr. Paul Kersey - "a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of his city’s violence as it’s rushed into his ER – until his wife (Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts for his family’s assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media’s attention, the city wonders if this deadly avenger is a guardian angel…or a grim reaper." Check out the latest trailer below!
