PBS Distribution has announced that it's releasing the new DVD “MISTER ROGERS’ NEIGHBORHOOD: IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY COLLECTION.” This special set of 32 memorable episodes and over 15 hours of content celebrates the 50th anniversary of the beloved Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, the pioneering children’s television series from The Fred Rogers Company. Mister Rogers helps children learn the importance of being kind to others, appreciating what makes everyone unique, recycling and taking care of our planet, and much more in the classic series. The new release also includes a very special bonus episode – the series premiere, in original black-and-white!

The folks over at PBS Digital Studios just hit The Rock Father with the news that due to the recent sucess of their highly-viral Mister Rogers video ''Garden of Your Mind,'' they've made the audio track available as a FREE MP3!
If you 'Like' The Rock Father on Facebook (and if you dont, please do) you might've seen this earlier today when I posted it to my 'Wall' - MISTER ROGERS just got remixed. Yes, the PBS Icon has received a sweet video mashup called 'Garden of Your Mind' courtesy of Symphony of Science's John Boswell, a remixer that was discovered by PBS Digital Studios on YouTube. When it turned out that Boswell was big fan of MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD, the collaboration was obvious. Check it out below.
