This past weekend, Disney and Lucasfilm played host to the global media event for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. The cast and crew gathered in downtown L.A. to meet with press, and one group was an in-house team - namely, THE STAR WARS SHOW. Today their latest episode was released, and hosts Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez sit down with director Rian Johnson, along with John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Laura Dern, Oscar Issac, Kelly Marie Tran, Domhnall Gleeson, and Mark Hamill. Who knew that Kylo Ren was "a big Christmas guy?" According to Adam Driver, Kylo is all about "the giving." That's not a huge surprise, as you can purchase a Kylo Ren Nutcracker, so that's pretty festive. Check out the latest episode of THE STAR WARS SHOW below...

At the end of J.J. Abrams' 2015 film, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, the world witnessed the return of a Jedi Master... Luke Skywalker. Stoic and silent, the film ended on what Mark Hamill calls "a literal cliffhanger," and on December 15, audiences will see the story pick up right where we left off when Rian Johnson's STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI hits screens. This story has nothing to do with either of those films, but much to do it has with the return of another Jedi Master... Yoda. Last seen on the big screen in 1983's RETURN OF THE JEDI, it is of course possible that the little muppet may return for THE LAST JEDI (spoiler?), but it's Recess Monkey's Jack Forman that has brought him back  first. Listeners to Sirius XM's Kids Place Live have been loving "Yodeling Yoda," and now we have a music video to go with it. Wampas? FX-7 Medical Droid? Vintage action figures from the Kenner Star Wars collection? Oh yes, they're all here, right alongside Forman as he does his best to train in the swamps of Dagobah... or somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Listen and watch, you will!

A New STAR WARS Trilogy is Taking Shape...

It's late as I sit here in the Pacific Northwest - reporting in from a hotel room near Seattle tonight as I catch up on a few things that I can't miss talking about. The big news of the day comes from Disney, who have announced a NEW Star Wars Trilogy from Lucasfilm, and it's coming from the filmmaker behind the latest installment, STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. "Obviously I hope you like The Last Jedi. But man, now I REALLY hope you like The Last Jedi." tweeted writer/director Rian Johnson earlier tonight, responding to the news that he will return to a galaxy far, far away to oversee a new Trilogy set outside the timeline of the Skywalker Saga.

During Game 7 of the 2017 World Series, fans watching the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Houston Astros were momentarily interrupted for a quick trip to a galaxy far, far away. In a new TV spot entitled "Awake," fans got a fresh look at new footage from STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, including Luke Skywalker's long-awaited return to the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, a nice look at the throne room of Supreme Leader Snoke, and a rainy lightsaber exchange. Check it out below!

The theatrical release of Rian Johnson's STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is fast-approaching, and of all the new characters and creatures that have been revealed, I don't think there's another with more buzz than the porgs. These little birdlike creatures are inhabitants of Ahch-To, the island where Luke Skywalker has been hanging out for a bit, and what we know of them so far is that Chewbacca seems to bond with the creatures. Already spawning some adorable merchandise and an upcoming book, Chewie and the Porgs, now comes news that they'll get the 6" action figure treatment from Hasbro this spring. The crew over at Hasbro just sent over an official photo of the porgs, announced this weekend at the MCM London Comic-Con.
