On November 9, Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss’ beloved holiday classic. The timeless tale of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous holiday spirit, if The Grinch is being reimagined, so should the soundtrack. Today I received the full details on The Rock Father™-approved tracklisting for the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for The Grinch - an album featuring some classic tracks from Run-DMC and The Brian Setzer Orchestra alongside some new cuts as well. One of those tracks is a complete re-working of "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch" by composer Danny Elfman and Tyler, the Creator. It's gonna be a great holiday season. I can feel it because we've got an uptick in seasonal fare coming on the entertainment front, and leading the charge is the return of a familiar icon from the mind of Dr. Seuss... THE GRINCH! Back in theaters in an all-new film from Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures, a new trailer was just released and it's almost enough to get me to switch my pumpkin spice to a peppermint mocha. Almost. Check it out!

It's never too early to start thinking about my favorite season, Fall, and the greatest holiday of the year, Halloween. That holiday is also the backdrop for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween, one that spawned a sprawling franchise that's been able to last four decades. Now, for the 40th Anniversary of the film that started it all, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride have crafted a story that carves a new path from the events of the original. In Halloween (2018) Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. Check out the first trailer below!

We're gearing-up for another massive summer at the movies, and on June 22, 2018 the Jurassic Park franchise continues with the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Today the final trailer has arrived, and it's the first big look we've had at the true plot of the film - one involving use of the creatures for nefarious purposes. I call it two-and-a-half minutes of dino-fueled badassery. Check it out below!

When you think of Pharrell Williams' infectiously-upbeat "Happy," can you think of a person who not only wouldn't like it, but would absolutely 100% despise it? Of course that individual would be THE GRINCH, and on November 9, 2018, he's back in theaters as Illumination and Universal Pictures bring forth a new animated feature based on the holiday classic by Dr. Seuss. This isn't just a shot-for-shot re-telling, either - and we've got the first official trailer to show you!

What would happen if all hell broke loose atop the most advanced building in the world? In Universal Pictures' SKYSCRAPER, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson answers the call when his family is trapped inside The Pearl, a building touted as being "the tallest and safest in the world." As the Titanic has shown us, bold claims seldom end well. After a teaser spot during the Super Bowl, the full trailer for SKYSCRAPER made its debut during The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. See it below...
