On October 14, two-time GRAMMY nominee Justin Roberts will release his 13th family music album, LEMONADE. “It's the musical equivalent of an impromptu lemonade stand popping up in the summer heat,” says Roberts about the new record, and today we're giving you a first-look at the music video for the title track, right here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine. A sweet and cheery number, "Lemonade" carries its summery-vibe right into fall. Gather the kids and have a look and listen...

Featuring performances by Chicago-based Robbie Fulks on lead acoustic guitar and banjo, Gerald Dowd on cardboard boxes, paint cans, salt shakers, and other homemade instruments, and John Abbey on upright bass, LEMONADE finds its fresh, clean sounds diversely dotted with ukulele, piano, cello, fiddle, marimba, and harpsichord, along with harmonies by Nora O’Connor (Neko Case, The Decemberists), Anna Jacobson, and others. Additionally, Roberts composed several of these songs with a ukulele which he received from Grammy-winning artist Marcy Marxer as a gift.

To celebrate the release of LEMONADE, Justin Roberts will play a special Chicago-area show on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Evanston SPACE. Get tickets here.
