Are you raising a baby Cowboy From Hell? If so, the folks at Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star have just released the lullaby album for your little one's nursery. LULLABY VERSIONS OF PANTERA (now on iTunes) features a dozen PANTERA classics, reworked into "lush instrumental versions" perfect for baby... and for parents that love the metal. To celebrate the release, Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star has authorized an Exclusive Track Premiere right here on The Rock Father. Feast your ears on the lullaby version of one of my favorite PANTERA cuts, "I'm Broken" below!

“Metal continues to be one of our most popular and requested genres. More than any other genre it’s music that little ears aren’t quite ready for, so parents seem to appreciate this option. When you look at the metal landscape Pantera ranks among the giants. We are proud to add this to our metal offering alongside Slayer, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica and Dream Theater.”Paul Modiano of Roma Music Group

ttlrspanteracoverDid you know that it was 21 years ago this month that PANTERA released VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER? PANTERA has been one of my favorite bands for over two decades, and I was fortunate to catch them live in the glory days. Even as I type this, a "Dime" hangs on my office wall, right next to a photo of late guitarist Dimebag Darrell... one of the gone-too-soon greats. Speaking of Dime, my boys from PRODUCT OF HATE will be performing the 2013 Ride for Dime Chicago at the Penny Road Pub this summer. Check facebook for details.
