LeVar Burton - Reading RainbowAfter creating successful viral videos three times in a row with tributes to MISTER ROGERS, BOB ROSS, and JULIA CHILD, PBS Digital Studios is back with a fourth round, this time giving READING RAINBOW the remix treatment. Long before he was rockin' that banana clip visor in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, LeVar Burton was teaching kids (like me!) the joys of reading. I'd say to "take a look, it's in a book," but what you need to see is "In Your Imagination."

Continuing the series started with remixed videos featuring MISTER ROGERS and BOB ROSS, PBS Digital Studios is back with a video celebrating what would've been the 100th birthday of JULIA CHILD. Check out the latest PBS icon remixed below in "Keep On Cooking." As with the first two remixes, the Julia Child piece was auto-tuned and chopped by John D. Boswell of Symphony of Science.

Following up their massive success with the MISTER ROGERS remix, Garden of Your Mind, PBS Digital Studios hit The Rock Father with word on their follow-up... BOB ROSS Remixed. Once again created by Symphony of Science's John D. Boswell for PBS Digital Studios, the new mix pays tribute to the iconic host of THE JOY OF PAINTING, and is entitled Happy Little Clouds. Check it out below, and if you like it - share it!

BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE have announced the digital release of a new remix EP entitled CELESTIAL PROGRESSION on April 17 via Solid State Records. The EP features remixes of six songs that were featured on the 2011 release CELESTIAL COMPLETITON, an album I gave a perfect 5/5 rating to when I was still at Kik Axe Music (the review is actually quoted in the EP's press release). Needless to say, I'm excited.
