Two things I really love: STAR WARS and ENTOURAGE. Both have new movies in theaters later this year, and today comes a potentially-viral clip from the folks at Quiznos (yes, those purveyors of tasty subs that massively over-expanded in the Chicago market, and all but disappeared following the "Great Recession" and prior to their 2014 bankruptcy - I know too much about this stuff). The new short from Windowseat recalls a time when STAR WARS mashups were just coming into their own with "fan films" like AMERICAN JEDI or TROOPS. Check out STARTOURAGE: THE FOURSOME AWAKENS below, and let me know - does it make you want a sub? Toasty...

Despite all the Disney coverage I post here on this site... and all of the trips to Los Angeles, it often surprises people when I reveal that I've never been to Disneyland. In fact, I've only visited Disney World and Epcot Center once - and that was back in 1988. One day, though - when my girls are a tad older, I will take them to these places, and I'll be just as excited as they are when we finally get to visit Disneyland as a family for the very first time. For now, there's a new bit of history that's arrived as part of the #Disneyland60 celebration that shows the construction of the park in just one minute thanks to some time-lapse video. Check it out below...

It's almost 3am here at Rock Father Mobile HQ, which tonight is a hotel room in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania - and while the girls are all asleep behind me, I can't seem to rest tonight, so I'm continuing to catch up. Back on Monday, my friend Rus posted this video on my Facebook page along with a note that it's in my "sweet spot" - and he's right... BATMAN + METAL = "BATMETAL." What we have here is a viral clip that's amassed nearly 800K views by featuring original animation of BATMAN, RED HOOD, ROBIN and NIGHTWING performing a DETHKLOK song called "Face Fisted" from METALOCALYPSE as the CHILDREN OF BATMAN (think CHILDREN OF BODOM). I can dig it, can you?

Citizens of Gotham... By now, you have all witnessed the power and glory of BatDad, who may or may not be Gregory Abbey, but is most certainly not Bruce Wayne. With The Joker and Catwoman out of the picture, a new enemy has emerged - one that reminds me of why THE ROCK FATHER no longer allows cats in his house. BANECAT has arrived, and while he may soon bring Gotham's reckoning, he is most certainly bringing boxes full of poop and kitty litter to the resident of one apartment. Feast (but not Fancy Feast) your eyes upon the visual evidence collected by Comissioner Gordon below...

If you're a parent, there's a good chance you've done it... and if you're like me, usually a couple of times a week. "Where did you hear that?" or "Who told you that word?" - both phrases occasionally directed at your little ones to find out why, exactly, they'd choose to use a word that they shouldn't use. Like Ralphie in A CHRISTMAS STORY when he dropped a word that "wasn't FUDGE," it happens. With my oldest (she'll be five in a few months) occasionally expanding her vocabulary with words and phrases that are most often attributed to "Joshua," the latest viral clip from JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! hits home. Inspired by this video, in which a little boy lists all the bad words he knows, Jimmy hit Hollywood Blvd yesterday to put some kids on the spot by asking, "Do You Know Any Naughty Words?" Here's what happened...

If you've turned on a radio, television, or happen to have seen DESPICABLE ME 2, then you're probably familiar with "Happy," the song performed by PHARRELL WILLIAMS, that's become a smash hit over the past few months. "Happy" may be bigger than the Arby's hat that he wore to the Grammys, or the other one that he wore while performing on the Academy Awards earlier this month. So bring in an element of a "galaxy far, far away," and you've got the "HAPPY (We Are From Tatooine)" video, a viral clip put together by STAR WARS fans in Tunisia, location of many familiar locations that STAR WARS fans will recognize as Tatooine. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, C-3PO, R2-D2 and many others can be seen getting "Happy" in the video below.
